I can honestly say this is the best Jamaican food in New Orleans. I've had it a few times now and they are really constant. The first time I went the service was awesome very polite and helpful. Recently I didn't get too much of an interaction with anyone because they have went viral a bunch so it's always packed. The food is so good I've nearly had every protein the Pork chop, Ox tails, Jerked Chicken, and Beef Rib. Everything pretty much has the same signature jerked season the flavor profile is the same but different because it's a different protein. The seasoning is Spicy and Salty but just the right blend of the 2, every bite is wonderful. For sides I always go with Rice & Peas, Plantains, Cabbage & Honey Brussels sprouts. Awesome choices the Plantains and Brussels are sweet firm, but yet tender gives you the perfect bite. Rice & Peas are just regular Rice & Peas I've had a good and a alright batches. The cabbage are real nice has some good taste a hint of sweetness, & bitterness the way I like them! New Orleans is not known for Jamaican food but this spot here puts it on the map in the city. This will always be a go to place to eat for me.

Wow, not sure where to start - stopped in today, Sun 12/1 to grab a meal before hitting the road. For starters, menus were inconsistent; there's a partial menu listed on their website and a QR code in restaurant with 2 very diff menus. Decided on the oxtail with rice and peas, cabbage and plantain and that was a poor decision. As a Jamaican, this might be the worst oxtail I've had to date. Rubbery, fatty, and non edible, oh and everything was so SALTY!!! I mean excessively - like no other spices but salt were used :( The oxtail itself tasted more like overcooked roast than oxtail.I can't speak much on service as I ordered to go (inside was quite small) but ordering/receiving food took maybe 20 mins total with a line. They had one single bathroom with no soap, toilet paper just sitting on the counter, very strange considering there's only one stall to keep up with. I'm not sure if Jamaicans are actually preparing this food, but down to the rice and peas, this is not authentic yaad food at all. So so disappointed. I had to throw more than half of this plate in the trash. Won't be back :/

Me- "Hello there, do you have a menu by chance?"Cashier- "It's online."That was my very first interaction in this establishment. Mind you, there's a kiosk to the left of the cash register that has bar codes to their Facebook and Instagram, no menu. My chief complaint is in relation to service. The location is clean and has a Rastafarian color pallet that is inviting to sit in. The music was played at an appropriate level to enjoy conversation with friends and place an order. The restroom was very clean but needs repair on the urinal and light switch. The food was above average but an argument can be made on pricing. The plate will come with rice, 2 sides, and your protein of choice. The plate is heavily weighted by the sides as opposed to the meat. For example, the jerk beef rib I got (which tasted great) was overshadowed by a large amount of potato salad, some variation of mac and cheese, and rice for 30 dollars.

DON'T ORDER ONLINE!What I ordered and what I was given were two different things because, as staff told me, the website is incorrect. When I said ok but this is what I wanted to order. Instead of being given the option to order in store, I was told go order it online as a separate item.Poor service online and in store. The chicken was tasty. The coco bread was hard.

Good jerk! This place is obviously a local favorite. When we went, there was a long line of folks waiting - but the service was friendly and fast. We didn't order a lot of food because we were really hungry. We just wanted to taste it. We heard that oxtails is what they were known for - but we didn't order them because it was such a large plate of food, but we wish we had of. Definitely recommend.

Service was out of this world good. Imagine this, a small building filled with people most of them in for the Superbowl. When I say filled I mean filled. But it was great at the same time. One might think with so many people in such a small space that would be tempers or some attitudes. There were none. They were even a couple of guys who were comedians on TikTok and YouTube in the building who were as funny as everybody else in the building cracking jokes. The young lady behind the counter which I'm sorry now I didn't get her name was as funny as anything. She and I went back and forth crack and jokes on each other all in good fun. I ordered the jerk burger which was spicy yet probably the top two hamburgers in the city. I also ordered two oxtail plates and if there was something to be said the only reason I would give was because they were out of mac and cheese. Besides we had the potato salad which was very good cabbage which was very good as well as brussel sprouts with a sauce that was sweet and spicy and I would definitely order that again. The hamburger the family cut into fourths and I didn't get an opportunity to take a picture lol. Needless to say every time I come home to visit New Orleans this is on my list of places to go. I honestly wish that I just had more pictures. No problem I leave Thursday but I'll probably be there for lunch tomorrow on Tuesday I'll take care of that. If y'all in New Orleans do yourselves a favor and try some of the best Caribbean food in the city. Y'allhollaatchaboy!

Amazing food and service. Despite a high lunchtime crowd, they were still getting orders out in a timely fashion. The food is awesome. There so many items on the menu worth trying. I particular enjoyed the oxtail pasta. Definitely, a place I will be frequenting in the future.
