Jalapeno Grill Long Beach

Today I wanted to switch it up from my normal spot in the Long Beach area and went to jalapeño grill ... this is my 3rd time by the way ! Service a little slow considering there was 3 other people in the whole restaurant Chips were fresh and crispy Rice and beans on pointThe burrito ... from my 3rd time experience the steak is DISGUSTING ! Just not good what so ever ha!Luckily I added shrimp (for $5) into my burrito that added some flavor to it! I did my 3 time try, don't think I'll be back! Good luck

The food was great, only thing I didn't like was they charged us extra off the kids menu. So My husband couldn't eat all of his food he showed his weight loss card and they still charged him $2.00 more off the Kids menu. They would not accept the weightloss card.

My friends and I went during lunchtime on a Sunday and we enjoyed everything that we got. I am a vegetarian so I was a bit disappointed that I did not see a vegetarian option on the lunch menu and decided to go with the vegetable fajitas-- I have to say that they were excellent and there was plenty of food leftover that I brought at home for me to have lunch the next day at work. The reviews seem to be hit or miss so I am glad that I had a good experience-our server was very attentive, and made sure that we had everything that we needed. we will definitely be back

4.5! Only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the cheese dip was frothy- which was weird lol. Food was SO good. Very well seasoned. And margaritas were top notch. I only needed 1. Kids eat free on Sundays! Definitely will be going back.

This location is inferior to its Gulfport location. If you want really good Mexican food go to the one in Gulfport!

We went there to celebrate Mother's Day. Our waitress was very nice but she didn't speak English or very little. We asked for water for 4 of us got one we asked that rest would like waters she brought one more we quit asking. Then we asked for some adult beverages sad to say it wasn't what I asked for but at least my wife's daughter and son in law was. We placed our food orders my wife's daughters and son in laws got most of what they ordered but I didn't. The waitress asked what I had ordered mine finally came out after everybody was finishing theirs. Food portions are generous but lacking in flavor. Don't expect the restaurant manager to walk the floor to interact with customers and receive feedback good or bad. The restaurant interior is very nice and we like the music they placed very fitting for a Mexican restaurant loved the atmosphere. I hate going to a restaurant let's say the food is Thai, Vietnamese Chinese or Japanese and they're playing music like def leopard or Kiss. We'll definitely be back

It's our 4th visit to the Jalapeño Grill and we love it. The food is always good and plenty of it. The service was always friendly and attentive and the new decor of the place is well done. We will be back again.

My husband and I walked in and nobody greeted us, just walked right past us. Finally a lady asked if we were dining in and we said yes. She pointed to 3 booths we could sit in and she would be right with us. Another server walked by us 2 times and said nothing. Then I look over at the bar and the lady that said she would be right with us was sitting at the bar on her phone. Horrible!!!

This is our 2nd time trying this restaurant (we believe in 2nd chances). The chips taste stale, despite being hot (& greasy). Tea is very weak & we got the wrong kind once again. Food is dry and lacks any flavor whatsoever. My Chili relleno was not even warm, nor was my husband's burrito. Pretty much the same disappointment as last time. Server never returned to check on us. She did return to the table as we were getting up to get the check and was surprised how much food was left. As she was printing the check, she kept saying "it was good". Upon realizing we weren't happy with the food, she did say sorry.

The restaurant has been open for a few weeks in Long Beach. My husband ordered steak and chicken fajitas and I had steak fajita salad. The spices on the fajitas were good, but the "steak" was stringy and not cut thin like traditional fajita. The chicken was good. The queso was delicious and the salsa was too. Our server was gracious and entertaining. We may go back and try something else. Obviously, fajitas are not their forte. The ambiance was quite nice.
