Jacmel Inn

I had made reservations for my anniversary. I've never been here before with living here my whole life! I've been missing out. When we arrived the table was decorated for our anniversary and champagne. The server was excellent at describing everything and helping us pick items. The appetizer was delicious, andouille arancini. The sauce it came with knocked it out the park. Dinner was great I got the crispy skin duck breast and my husband got the three mushroom risotto with chef Brandon's lamb shank. I recommend this place to everyone.

This is really a beautiful place that's going to waste because the chef is so bad. I had shrimp and grits. It's a very simple dish but he took it to a level. That was absolutely ridiculous and made it horrible. The service here is great. the personnel are very friendly, and if they change the chef, I will come back

Still our favorite restaurant in Hammond. Beautiful inside and out, with excellent service, music and lighting at the right level, and top flight food and drink. On this occasion we had the grilled oyster and andouille appetizers and the drum and ribeye entrees, and they were delicious, as were the Salty Duck and Brown Butter Old Fashioned cocktails. We will be back soon.

Great service and staff in a very romantic atmosphere. We have eaten here several times and the food was always outstanding.

I always prefer quality over quantity!!! Jacmel inn never disappoints! If you're in the area you cannot go wrong with the Steak Tips, Gnocchi, a glass of Pinot Grigio, and crème brûlée for dessert! Thank me later. Love you

I went to college in Hammond, the town where Jacmel is. It is a very special location, an old home that was turned into a restaurant. The ambiance is superior to most any other restaurant that I have been to. The menu and food are superb. In the colder months, there are fireplaces that just add to the charm. A visit here will be one that you will never forget, or regret.

Jacket is highly over priced and the service is terrible. Waited 40 minutes before someone came to the table. Then it's cold inside here.

Thursday night party of 17. No starters were ordered. Entrees took 1hr 45 minutes. Salmon overcooked, all steaks not to correct temperature, bread was eliminated from table service, drink refills were by reques, no fresh ice, menu modifications were not even considered even simple ones, minimal prebussing, no deserts or after dinner beverages offered. Excuse was new menu and a cook had to leave, no staff visibility, no apologies from management/owner at all.Will not be returning and some in the group spend big money there but no longer

Garlic potatoes are always good. Pecan crusted pork is good. Great service! Convenient location.

Great atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Wonderful spot for a special ial occasion or date night
