It says brewery on the building but it's not. Apparently it used to be though. I didn't come for that anyway. It's actually a touristy mall on the inside. Upstairs there's a space where you can use it for different venues. The wedding I went to there was decorated very beautifully, and the food service was great. The wait staff were at different sections of the room with different kinds of foods and some walked around with food platters of bite size hors d'oeuvres. The balcony/patio section was very nice for taking pictures and seeing the Mississippi River, the river boat and the view of everything from up high.

Well, don't let the name fool you. This is in fact, not a brewery. There's really not much I can review here because it's not what it says it is. We walked like 15 minutes to get here and there is no brewery.

Well shoot! Jax Brewery gets me every time. It hasn't been a brewery for years and I always forget that when looking for a local brew. Nothing to see here... except shopping and dining! Smell those beignets!!

No Jackson Brewery at this location. Just the name on the building. We walked all around looking for it but only came across empty spaces. Locked doors, and Landry's Seafood.

The Southern fried fish with fries and onion rings truly is a Specialty. The tender flakey fish has the lightest crust that delivers a hit of heat to complement the sweetness of the fish. Outstanding! And the staff are tremendously accommodating. They go the extra mile. Make the trip to the second floor. It's a great space.

Still named the Jackson Brewery, yet there is brewery here. The place needs to be updated. Basically at one time it was a multi level mall that now only has generic tourist stores on its main floor. Go down the street and check out the French Market instead. Your will find a much more lively place to explore.

I am not really sure what was going on at this place. We walked up from the River Walk and at first glance going up the steps and into the entrance I saw a relatively crowded restaurant on the first floor but further into the space it was just a lot of souvenir shops and very dead. There was a food court but it was closed.Upstairs there were a few more shops with tee shirts, beads, trinkets and what have you that was all owned by the same man. He also had all kinds of stuff outside the shop like in the middle of the floor and he was pitching hard to sell. I bought a NOLA tee shirt for my cousin and my girlfriend bought herself one. Other than that there was nothing worth while here so skip it unless you're hard pressed for a mask and some creole seasonings.

Wow, I don't understand the poor reviews. Did I go to the same little pub that everyone else visited? The actual pub is around toward the back of the building. The rest of the building is full of a bunch of dated, touristy shops that give a feeling of being in a third-world country. Totally not worth the time. The actual pub though is cute, with 16 local microbrews on tap and a full liquor bar in addition, as well as food.Be sure to check out the area with the stage and the cool barrel tables, and wood structures if you end up making a trip to the restroom. This whole place is cool, and the bartender really knew her beers. We'll definitely head back here when in NOLA again.

So confused. We entered expecting to find an actual brewery and when we noticed all the random shops and food places immediately asked the information desk where the brewery was. The woman at the desk explained that back in the day it used to be a brewery and is no longer. There's a small-ish area near the beignets place that looks like a bar but I'm not sure what kind of beer they have as we didn't go in. I'm sure the restaurants near the river side of the building serve local beer but I rated this place a 1 Star because you can't put brewery on the outside of the building and not actually brew beer here. False advertising.

This was hands down the best brunch of my life. I don't live anywhere near New Orleans and I still think about this brunch! This place is a must stop anytime I come near. The bottomless mimosas are actually bottomless and come in pitchers with champagne bottles instead of by the glass, the eggs were perfect and the beignets are delicious.
