We came for a bachleorette dinner and to have a good time in the Big Easy. This place exceeded all my expectations. The drinks, service of our wait staff, the impeccable vibe, playlist of music was nice, and of course food were all phenomenal. The artwork displayed throughout the establishment lead to good conversation think pieces. I really enjoyed checking out the self portrait of Lil Wayne.I will definitely visit again in the near future.

This was a nice dining experience in the Pontchartrain Hotel on the edge of the Garden District of New Orleans. Jack Rose is the hotel's chichi restaurant for those eating in. We had already had drinks at the rooftop bar named Hot Tin, so this review is solely for the restaurant food. One in our party was eating lighter and had the Wedge Salad ... which was a 3 star fail because it was mostly endive as opposed to a wedge of lettuce; maybe their term wedge is used more generally, but it really was an endive salad. Another in our party had the Swordfish and it was a 3.5 star plate that tasted a bit more fishy than we were used to ... still a nice entree though. The last in our party had the Fried Chicken Parmesan and it was a 4 star offering. We ended dinner with the Mile High Pie dessert, which is essentially four different layers of ice cream fashioned in a pie shape and cut/served as pie wedges. Since I hadn't been to the Pontchartrain Hotel's restaurant for that entree in over 30 years, I seem to remember it being a more imposing mile-high ... still a delightful taste anyway. All-in-all this was a nice visit. Food really came in at 3 to 3.5 stars overall, but the waiter and service we had, and the ambiance of the room pushed our rating to 4 stars. This is a nice place to visit.

I knew this restraunt was going to be amazing the second we walked in! We were greeted by the sweetest staff and the place was absolutely beautiful! Service was quick and the food was delicious!! The cocktails were very good and so was the food! After our dinner we headed up to the hot tin rooftop bar to end our night and it was absolutely amazing!! We definitely will be back!!

I visited here for the first time yesterday. I was able to find free street parking on a side street not far from the restaurant. I believe they have valet as a parking option. I learned that I had to go inside the hotel to get to the restaurant. The gates are not an entry point. Overall I liked the vibe. The staff were nice and the waitress showed good service. It took a bit of time for the food to be served but there were several full tables. So that could be the reason. My food was ok. I ordered the fusilli and that was made alligator. I also had a side of asparagus. The asparagus had a little too much oil and wasn't very flavorful.

So far this is the best restaurant I've tried in New Orleans. Great ambiance, food, drinks and service! For drinks I tried the Molly Ringwald, SugarCane Old Fashioned, Chabong and Espresso Martini and I enjoyed them all.For food I tried the Lobster Aracini, Crawfish Risotto, and Rosemary Lamb Chops...all tasty. For dessert we had the Pistakion. It was interesting, it was good but idk if I would order it again.I am not easily impressed but this restaurant hit all the marks for me. I would love to come back to try brunch.

WOW! I absolutely loved this restaurant! I had always heard about it, and wanted to try it for my boyfriend's birthday. Let me start off by saying how absolutely gorgeous this place is. It is truly beautiful, I was blown away when I walked in! The entire staff was excellent, offering us complimentary Chambongs for the celebration and checking in on us! We both had the Fettucine Nero and cracked potatoes for our entree and side. It was delicious and well cooked. We also finished off the night by getting a drink upstairs at the Hot Tin. Beautiful view of the city and yummy drinks! The vibes were spectacular, I will be coming here way more often!

I've always wanted to try this place and I'm glad I did. The ambience is so cute and I had to get a snapshot of the artwork. There were many celebrations going on so it was nosier than I expected. The menu is not that extensive but the food was good. Great place for a date night.

I walked back into my fit and here I am, a polished woman with a love for food. On this journey back to my content reviews. I stumbled across the great divide and entered in a moment beautifully frozen in time. Where might you ask? Well @jackrosenola with my @yelpnola skills at hand I grafted myself into all the vibes Jack was giving and enjoyed the future, present, and past. This place touched every aspect of any moment you can imagine when desiring to have a photographic moment to relive with loved ones. The food was like a mix between southern traditional, French inspired, and a pinch of New Orleans fever.

Man oh man. If you want to visit a place with obvious French influence in terms of food and decor then come here. Another gem in New Orleans that many tourists may not know much about. Located inside of the Pontchartrain Hotel (in the back and to the right) is Jack Rose. As you're walking through the hotel and into the restaurant you'll feel like you were teleported between two different periods of time. It's a sight to see. What I love about NOLA is that even though they put an emphasis on the aesthetics of their restaurants, they are still sure to prioritize the quality of their food and service. Not one bad experience at any place I've been to here. Came here for brunch w/my cousin and boyfriend. We started with the chambong (a must have), then I ordered the honeysuckle hottie (very unique experience as well- it's a hot tea cocktail w/liquor...but a very solid choice when the weather is gloomy or cold). For food we got the duck & andouille gumbo and the chicken and waffles. One word, three letters - YUM.
