It's a cute little gem we found while visiting, and their whiskey collection in the back is pretty good after you walk through their small museum room. It's different from an extensive museum that will take 2 hours or anything like that. It's a small room. The courtyard is lovely. You can enjoy your drink in that area. The space with the bar also has a few seats. The museum is just a roo. m not very big

This is a very, very small museum. It is the size of a small room. Admission is free, however. The museum's purpose is to tell the stories of the Irish immigrants who helped build the City of New Orleans. It is right off of Bourbon Street, in the French Quarter. You will find St. Patrick's Coffee House, an Irish Coffee and whiskey bar right behind the museum, separated by an outdoor courtyard. The museum has maps, pictures, informational placards and documents detailing New Orleans Irish American history. There is not many artifacts. The museum is decorated like an actual room in a house and was unattended and self-guided while I was there. There is nearby metered street parking available to park. This is not primarily a destination spot. It is a nice spot to stop on your where somewhere else and maybe even get a hot or cold Irish coffee from the attached coffee shop.

We've been there twice this week and will be coming back for more before we leave! Wonderful atmosphere, cocktails, and conversations with Mike, Michael, and everyone else we met while taking our repose and regaining our fortitude to confine on our New Orleans adventure! The cocktails here have a unique twist to them (pun not intended) and I've never had a better Irish coffee... ever! - Get it hot during cooler weather or iced during the warm days. Thanks a million!Carlos and Heather

Great place with an awesome history. They have the largest collection of Irish whiskey in the state. Granted the current world scenario doesn't help their cause but it was bad-ass before. The bar is family owned and built. They are locals who are in the construction business. They bought the property and did the research and found out what was built there in the 1800's and then rebuilt it! I've been told it's the best Irish coffee in the city but I don't drink coffee so no opinion. We always stop in for a few drinks. The Irish history museum on the street front is very interesting. Also, they have some incredibly clean restrooms that are for customers only. Keep that in mind during Mardi Gras!

Homemade Irish coffee- hot or cold. That's all that needs to be said! This is such a cozy little bar, tucked away just off Conti Street in the French quarter. They have the most quaint patio area, mostly shaded but with enough sunshine to be warm and inviting. Couldn't recommend more!

Wanted to leave a review several months after I visited because I was telling a friend about this place and wondered why I never did. We actually didn't see the museum, but wandered into the courtyard late at night and had some coffee from the bar in the back. The bar tender had a big map and showed what areas he recommended walking in. We had a great conversation with the owner and the bar tender and it was a nice little save haven while we waited for our Uber. Very good vibes.

Tucked away on Conti, the Irish Cultural museum has phenomenal staff that were attentive and thoughtful with their drink suggestions. A variety of whiskies and bourbons not typically available stateside.
