This is the place for drinking drinking and more drinking! HEAVY pours After midnight we start howling at moon. They have TouchTunes to play your fav songs ever, the food is really good for all your late night cravings. It's small menu but tasty. The bartenders are great. It's the friendly neighborhood hang out! Two pool tables and they bring the big screen down for games. Smoking is allowed inside FYI

Interference is a Mandeville dive bar.I am on a quest to go to new bars. Normally this quest takes place in New Orleans, but last night it brought me to Interference.I pass this bar nearly every day and have always wondered how it was, but never stopped in. I was a tad overdressed since I was coming from La Provence, but I didn't care. The bar is pretty well lit for a dive. They could probably have turned out 3/4 of the lights to make it more divey. There was a pool table and a very long shuffleboard table. Shuffleboard in bars is an excellent concept. I never had been to a bar in Nola with shuffleboard, but this is the second Northshore bar with a table that I know of.The bar is very long and lined with bar stools. Above the bar there were four TVs all tuned to sports. The area next to the shuffleboard table has around 10 or so tables and chairs which was a nice place to sit and drink. There is also an area for a band, but there wasn't a show last night. The crowd was mixed. I was the best dressed, but it ran the gamut from young tattooed service industry folks to old dudes wearing LSU gear. The bartender was young, attractive and friendly. I ordered poorly (Fancy Lawnmower-nasty), but they did have a decent selection of other drafts (maybe 4-5). There was a Guinness draft sign, but I did not confirm that they had an actual draft. In summary, interference is a sports themed dive. It was too bright, but I'll be back.

I would normally not review a place like this but the food is amazing, the bartenders are the best and I had the best time! Kim treated us like family and has the best personality. Brian is a wizard with the food! Will make this a regular place for sure!

I love this bar. It's a great place to hang out. The bartenders are great. Very friendly atmosphere. Every other Wednesday they have live comedy acts. The chicken wings are really good!

I looked all around town for a local bar that would be able to play our out of state NFL game, alongside our Saints. My husband and I prefer taking our business to local businesses, especially when we're traveling out of town like we were. Walked in and it was smaller, but seemed like our kind of dive bar. The female bartender(dark hair, referee shirt) came up for our drinks. She was incredibly rude and curt from the time we sat down. My husband(who has vision problems due to being a disabled veteran) asked what they had on draft, and she just pointed to their draft selection and said "THAT." I would understand if maybe it was an overwhelmingly busy day, but there were only about 20 guests, if that. We made it about 10 minutes there before we decided, we didn't want to spend money somewhere just to deal with that kind of attitude for the next two hours or so...so we drove to Chili's. They, by the way, had no problem telling us what their drink specials were and listing what beers were available on draft(a wider variety by about 10 or so). The drink prices were nothing special, but the reason we(our party of three) left so quick was solely based on the attitude of the bartender. Didn't have a chance to try the food before the decision was made, but apparently the cook was cool to my husband and father in law before we left. Wish we could've tried a bite.

Weird, rude bartenders. Food takes forever and is kinda crappy. Granted I am 26 and probably a little younger than their regular clientle, but I can appreciate a stale, smokey neighborhood bar. This just isn't the place I want to find myself...anytime soon.

Good place for a beer and a burger. I've always had a good time here. A couple of pool tables and plenty of tv's with sports on. Comedy night. Steaks. Good place to hang out.
