The "Ice House" & French 75.
Ducked into this little quaint spot and am having the best drink ever. It's the "ice house" . Most delicious drink in the french quarter.
The Sazerac. NOLA official.

Mom & I were wondering around the French Quarter and popped in here for a drink. Located inside Hotel Provincial, this cozy little bar is quite charming. I loved the décor and the artwork on the walls. There are two tvs above the bar because we always need a spot to catch our Saints, and there is a tranquil courtyard where you can enjoy your beverage as well. The bartender was a nice gal. She told us to have a seat wherever we wanted, and she would bring our drinks to us. I ordered a French 75 & mom got The "Ice House, " which was a refreshing combination of Citron vodka, raspberry syrup, lemonade, with a splash of ginger. I love when champagne is served ice cold, and that is how my French 75 arrived. It was perfect! I've passed by here many times before and am glad I finally stopped in. It's such a chill spot to relax. I'd come back.

Thomas was kind enough to let me use the bar as a landing spot to get some remote work done and it had a charming ambiance. Plus, once work was done, the drinks were as lovely as the company! Great place to stop off and they of course have to go options available.

Chill little hotel bar. Small but great selection. I stayed at Provincial and it was a great place to grab a drink before heading out to see the town. Bartender was a kind man.

Hubby and I stopped in for happy hour. I ordered a sazerac and hubby ordered the ice house. The sazerac was good, but a little heavy on the bitters. Hubby's drink was good. We did a to go round with basic. Vodka and soda and a beer. The bathrooms were clean which is an important aspect while drinking and walking through the French quarter. Wouldn't not come here again, but wouldn't make it a must do..

Cute little bar inside Hotel Provincial. James is a badass bartender that knows how to keep it real. He has that Old World charm that you can only find in a city like New Orleans. It truly is complementary to the bar itself because that too has that ethereal feel. We got the sazarac and a hurricane. Both drinks were phenomenal. If you stay at the hotel, you get a buy one get one free coupon at check-in. There's not much that I can say about the place, besides that if you are not staying here you should just come in for a quick drink because you won't regret it. Also, the inside is really cute. Like you would feel like you have been transported to a different time period.

The bartender was very nice and welcoming. You can order a drink "for here" or "to go walking with." Oh, NOLA! Came during happy hour. Took my hurricane to the lovely courtyard in the middle of the hotel. The fountain and lights in the trees make for a great place to rest with a drink!

The ICE HOUSE BAR @ Hotel Provincial has become a neat little home base for our French Quarter visits. The Hotel Provincial has excellent parking, as one's vehicle never leaves the premises. This bar opened about two years ago, also furnishes beverage services to the nice patio / fountain / pool area, steps away. Crowd is a mix of locals, hotel guests, & partiers. House Specials include Bloody Mary's, Sazerac Cocktails, Pimm's Cups, etc.The tres-chique "Restaurant Stella" shares the front of this historical edifice. Irene's, Tujague's, Fiorella's, & El Gato Negro are nearby. Muriel's is 2-1/2 blocks up Rue Chartres; Frenchmen Street music venues are three or four blocks down.

Great service and drinks. We stopped by on the way to our room at the hotel. The bartender was super nice and engaging. I'm horrible with names and don't remember his. He was really nice though and the drinks hit the spot.

James at the bar is a gentleman and a New Orleans Native. He was kind to our Bride to Be and to the rest of the party that has survived the day. He had great recommendations for brunch and activities for the next day. Will go back If I'm ever in town!
