Are you a design buff? Do tasteful historic restorations wake you up in the morning? Is #archporn your preferred hashtag? If so, this place is for you! (And even if you're not this place is probably still for you)! Spanning four properties, this historic gem seems to be ripped straight from the pages of a storybook...or maybe arch digest! What was it before?- What is it now?- custom rooms (each shown online if youre aiming for a specific room, tastefully restored, boasting the most beautiful showers you've ever seen! Artful shared spaces for like minds to connect, a restaurant and bar serving a variety of options day and night, a cathedral primed for weddings and yoga alike, a shop (because why not), and much more to explore. There's a steamer in room...and my excitement at this fact alone reminds me that I'm firmly and undoubtedly an adult. Weddings, yoga, Elysian bar, parking, and a location in a walkable fairly central part of the city-it's a win for me. Peter and Paul, if you ever decide to sell, give me a call, I'll be your buyer!

I use to come to Nawlins for work but would always stay in Downtown. This was one of my first leisure trips to the city with my partner to have some fun. We choose Peter & Paul because of its location and esthetics. I'm a designer and visuals do a lot for me as well as architecture. The hotel used to be a school and church and has been repurposed wonderfully. You have the main building which is in the school building which hosts the main lobby, a water station, lounge area and rooms. The building hosts a bar, cafe, restaurant and rooms. Bar was my favorite part as I was there cooling down with drinks constantly. Bartenders were friendly and cool. The next building is the actual church which now hosts events and Yoga and pilates and lastly the small building at the end has a small shop with nice jewelry, clothes, and other miscellaneous nic nacs. The location is nice very close to Frenchman, close to several eateries, drug stores as well as light rail stops. We will most definitely be back.

Love everything about this hotel. It's an old church and convent that was renovated into a hotel and restaurant. I personally like the Victorian- medieval vibe. It's located in a quiet neighborhood that's a 10 minute walk to Frenchman street and 20 minutes from the French Quarter. Their restaurant, the Elysian, has a great drink and food selection. I love being able to walk downstairs in the morning and order a good cup of coffee and hangout in the church, that offers yoga classes. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. It kinda gives small resort vibes. Also want to give Maynard at the front desk a special shout out for always being so kind and accommodating. Definitely telling all our friends and family. This place has become our NOLA spot.

Stoping at Elysian Bar for cocktails. So glad we did. Good cocktails and delicious appetizers. The Hotel, Restaurant and bar is a former church, convent and rectory. It's beautiful! The integrity of architecture is in place inside and out. The design and style for bar, restaurant is very pleasing. Done is absolute good taste. It's another must stop.

The best boutique hotel I've ever been to and it's located about an 8 minute walk from the French quarter. The hotel is a treat and I loved every moment and the attention to detail as it pertains to the decor. The staff was great (extra shout out to Justin, who was OUTSTANDING)! The great service started before arrival where they confirm your visit and inquire as to any accommodations and perks you may want for your room. The room was clean, bright and beautifully decorated. You've got to see it to believe it. They also have a restaurant called the Elysian bar (please refer to my review for my experience) and food and drink offers were nice. The third part of the building is where yoga, live music and festivities for guests occur. My visit and experience was exceptional. I got all the rest and relaxation I needed in addition to great food options. I look forward to staying here again. Enjoy!

I wasn't the biggest fan of The Elysian Bar, but I'm a huge fan of this hotel! If looking for an immaculate and extremely comfortable experience, look no further! I found the hotel to be just as "plush", "warm" and "inviting" as Maison La Luz, but literally half the price and in a better neighborhood. The bed and linen choices? Astounding.

Just spent a week here and it is first rate.Unique buildings and rooms, friendly staff, great value, walking distance to many places including Frenchman Street.Three good breakfast places that are very close with an on site coffee cafe, bar and restaurant. Other restaurants are further afield but also within walking distance.Uber can take you anywhere of course. The only negative I can fathom is that the coffee cafe does not open till 7am so if you want coffee before that, you will have to walk a few hundred yards to "Who Dat" coffee cafe which is open five days a week and opens at 6:30am.Will definitely stay there again.

If you want to have a home away from home in New Orleans, stay at the Hotel Peter and Paul.First all the staff is so kind and welcoming...just a few names we remembered, Terry (Security), Deanna at the Desk and Eric at the Elysian Bar. The location is unparalleled, sustainable, historic. Cannot wait to visit again!
