The staff is so amazing! We were just in town for the night for my husbands birthday. We had never been to New Orleans. They went out of their way as I requested a bottle of wine be in our room when we arrived. We asked for suggestions for food, and what/ where to go and they took the time to draw on the map the must do's! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and it's staff! Thank you again for everything! Husbands birthday was definitely one to remember

For the price and location, this place is amazing. I decided to go with the two story room which was a mixed blessing. I had a ton of space, but going up and town the tiny staircase got old faster than I expected. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed having both a couch and a lazyboy chair. Another perk is that there is a stove, microwave, mini-fridge, cups, plates, sink, etc... like a whole mini-kitchen. There is also a nice shared balcony on the 2nd floor. My biggest (and really only) complaint was that the air-conditioning is loud. While I enjoyed the cool air, when it would kick on in the middle of the night it would wake me up. I'd fall back asleep, but it happened 2-3 times a night and I'm not usually a particularly light sleeper.

Great location!!! Everything in French Quarter less then 1 mile. The blond lady at the front desk was the nicest lady. Very informative! When we arrived it was dark. April recommended Deanie's. Very nice and helpful ladies.

This is just the best place to stay, it's clean, friendly and convenient to everything. With that said it is a very old building as with 99% of New Orleans so judge it for the area and not other timeshares that are new. Each room is decorated nicely and the new deck is nice to sit and traffic watch. George and the staff are wonderful we return here every year. I will warn you it is noisy during Mardi Gras but trust me every place is. That's what it's all about!

I had a reservation that I unfortunately had to cancel through Hotels.com. It was for late October and cancelled within the 100% refund time and I was required to pay in full. I am having difficulty getting the refund, they tried to tell me that would have to send a check, that was almost 9 weeks ago. I am having no luck getting a response. I have called and gotten no answer, and once I called and spoke to Dave N. and I still have not gotten the refund!

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was outstanding; we had two bedrooms, a large living room with a two-burner stove, and a balcony overlooking Canal Street. Even though we were so close to busy Canal Street, we slept well with no outside noise. The hotel is near many eateries, theaters, and public transportation. I cannot wait to plan another occasion to stay at Hotel Maison Pierre Lafitte.

This is one of those hidden gems. It was our 2nd trip & highly recommended. George & his team are awesome & make you feel so at home. It's very clean, comfortable and quiet. It's an easy walk to the French Quarter & getting a cab is never a problem. New Orleans is one my favorite places & staying here gives you that old world experience. Look forward to my next trip & no doubt I'll stay here. Accolades to George, he's a professional when it comes to ensuring the guests are taken care of.

Before I even left to fly for New Orleans I received a phone call to make sure I had all the information I needed. This was fortunate since I arrived after 10 pm and I had no problem letting myself into the building, where I found a nice packet with my keys and information waiting for me.The room was clean and nicely furnished. I stayed in a very homey and comfortable second story loft, and despite marching bands on the street, I had no real noise in the room. The front desk was helpful and friendly, there was hot coffee available in the mornings (and donuts on Sunday). I found Maison Pierre Lafitte charming, clean and a perfect pied-a-terre for a four-day visit to the French Quarter. I agree with the previous review that this venue was great, particularly for an historic place like the French Quarter, and anyone who wants something more like the Ritz Carlton should stay a block away... at the Ritz Carlton.
