We stayed here in November for my birthday weekend which was also the weekend for the falcons vs the saints game. The hotel was sold out! It's located right off of Canal Street so in the quarter and it's a great location. It's in walking distance from a lot of things that you want to do. It's also near some good restaurants. Everyone at the front desk was hospitable except one light skin young lady with curly hair who was very rude to me when I went down to get extra towels. Seems as though housekeeping is only open from 8:00 in the morning until 8:00 at night so when I called down for extra towels around midnight and was told that they would come to my room and they didn't I had to go and get them and she was very rude and stated that they only had four towels. I don't understand how a hotel this size, not a motel but a hotel doesn't have an abundance of fresh towels available during off hours. We had a great handicap accessible corner room on the 5th floor with an amazing view. The room is super cute however it did not have a closet but what it did have was a separate seating area and TV as well as a mini refrigerator. I like that this location had a self-service snack area that had a microwave in case you wanted to heat up some of the delicious food that you got while you were exploring New Orleans!! There is also a full bar and restaurant on site.

The Hotel Indigo in New Orleans was home base while in the city recently for work and my stay was very pleasant. Just a stone's throw from Canal and Bourbon Street, the location couldn't have been more convenient. With the ability to catch public transportation just around the corner, it was easy to get where I needed to go. Modern, clean main lobby with lots of seating and an open line of sight to their bar and dining area, this was a decent place to hang out while waiting for my room to be ready.Checking in our large work group was a bit of an endeavor but it all worked out in the end. The front desk staff and manager handled everything with grace so that we could check in as many folks as possible. Although I had to wait longer than was preferable for a room, all involved parties made sure I and the others that had to wait were comfortable and taken care of at the bar after a long travel day. The room I was eventually issued was really cute and comfortable! Great view of the city, king bed, flat screen tv, dresser, mini fridge, sleeper sofa, and desk area were all welcome amenities. Plenty of lighting and space to spread out after lengthy work days. Steamer was available in place of an iron. Very quiet, easy to get a good nights rest. Appreciated the complimentary waters. The bar and breakfast staff were very nice (and accommodating) making our early mornings smooth sailing. I would consider staying here again for sure!

Our home away from home for the week! Decided to spend my 50th birthday week in NOLA. After doing a bit of research, I suggested this place for accommodations. Hubbers reserved our room with a king sized bed. The room is designed with disability access, so it was quite roomy - ditto the bathroom which also had foldable bathroom seating (good to have, although we didn't have the need to use it.) They provided complimentary coffee tea and water. Room service kept our room clean every day. They're good at maintaining cleanliness overall, be it our room, the hallways, public bathroom, receiving area, even the bar. They are quite mindful about that. The bad? ONE: There was a hot water issue for a couple of days. (I read a few reviews who mentioned this, so this is clearly an ongoing issue.) No bueno more especially when it was the one thing I wanted to do after traveling all day and having to deal with humidity. TWO: Our room had a closet, but no shelves or drawers. I was kinda irked that we had to live out of our luggage the whole week. [Insert sigh here.] THREE: Some of the sockets were connected to the light switches (took us a couple of days to figure this out) so our gadgets didn't charge right for a few. Not sure why they'd do that. FOUR: Our room only had a lamp on the far corner and lighting next to the closet the same side where the lamp is, so except during the day, our room was dark most of the time. We had to use our phone's flashlight when at the opposite corners. But what I do love best about this hotel is that everything is walking distance from pretty much everywhere (depending on how much walking you plan on doing!) Nothing we wanted to checkout was more than a 20-30 minute walk, so given the location, we pretty much got to see and do pretty much everything we wanted to see and do - and then some! And I like that the main doors are locked at a certain hour to ward off unwelcome guests. Hotel is accessible with an activated room key, though. Because you know... safety first! What I appreciated even more are the staff. Every single one of them were professional and welcoming. They accommodated us when needed. (Our departure flight was hours after checkout and they had no issue securing our bags until we were ready.)Decent first run. I'd definitely consider staying here again for the next NOLA visit.

Located right off of Canal Street and across from the French Quarter. We were looking for a hotel to spend a day in Nola and didn't want the noise from the French Quarter while we were sleeping but still be walking distance to Jackson Square and all of the hustle and bustle. The hotel offers valet parking for guests; it came out to $53.98 after tax. As someone from Houston who despises parking and valet fees, this is a pretty ludicrous cost and is a minus one star from me. However, I realize most hotels in the French Quarter and surrounding areas do the same $40-50 valet/night parking scheme so it's a case of it is what it is. The hotel itself looks recently updated and the lobby, hallways, and room itself looked clean and modern. Our room came out to $150/night, which was very reasonable for the quality and we were able to browse around the French Quarter pretty easily by walking. The staff there were friendly and the valet service was actually pretty quick in getting our vehicle back to us.

I have mostly all positive things to say about Indigo. Its location is perfect, close to Canal and the French Quarter. The staff were amazing and friendly. I would come down to the lobby just to talk to them everyday. The room was comfortable and air conditioning worked great. BUT. And this is the BIG BUT. But I didn't have hot water for two days. I had to take cold showers which was rough. That alone put a damper on my stay here. I was a good sport and didn't complain though. But I do feel the need to mention it on Yelp. And this could have been a fluke and it never happens to any other guests right? But I was the unlucky one unfortunately.

We came to NOLA to celebrate my wife's birthday and New Years! I booked our room through a third party and arrived early before their check in time. The host at the reception desk was nice enough to allow us to check in early. She also gave us some goodies and free drinks for the bar. The room was a bit smaller than expected but we made it work and the light in the hallway kept flickering off and on. I did like that there was a bar and restaurant in the lobby with a store with snacks, sandwiches, and drinks. I also liked the hand soaps, body wash, shampoo, and conditioners the Hotel provides. They all had amazing fragrances that I will buy for my personal use. Overall our stay was comfortable including the bed. The Hotel is in the French Quarters centrally located and walking distance to many good restaurants, stores, bars, and things to do.

July 2- July 5 2024I have nothing but good memories from my stay. Hotel staff 5 Cleanliness 5 Location 5 Pricing 5Room - clean and comfortable w/view 5Also,I totally forgot about the 11 AM checkout when I returned from brunch. I won't mention the time that I arrived but the receptionist graciously extended a late checkout. I also forgot a bag of souvenirs in my room while rushing to checkout. Housekeeping returned the items to lost and found and my cousin who lives in New Orleans was able to pickup them up for me. Honesty goes a long way.

I liked this hotel. It's in an excellent location and very clean and pretty inside. The rooms are tiny, but for $125 that's fine. There's a closet to hang all your clothes, and we had a mini fridge that had water in it, plus a Keurig type coffee maker. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the hotel was calm and quiet. Drawbacks was the super expensive valet parking which took ages to get us our car and was quite unfriendly. Also, the bathroom door was so massive and opened inward so it was impossible to use the shower and any other part of the bathroom with the door open. All in all, though, I'd stay here again.
