They are consistently good Chinese take out. It's nothing crazy different from any other Chinese take out, but the girl who answers the phone is very polite and helpful, they are quick, and you can count on getting the same quality item as you got it the last four times your ordered. Everything we have tried on the menu is pretty good!Obviously it's not some gourmet place like Miss Shirley's but that's not what you want always is it? Great neighborhood spot that is ALWAYS busy but also ALWAYS extremely fast. We order about once a week and it's my stepdads favorite.Fairly priced as well.

I've been here before and the food was good. Not awesome , but good. Tonight I ordered my usual of beef and broccoli. The meat was off. It was full of gristle and had a very strange texture. I was disappointed because it's so close to where I live. I'll try them again and hope for the best. I can't comment on the service because I always take it to go.

Food was ok, service was what expected but not why you except when offing Chinese food... Ambiance is definitely to-go restaurant not dine in...

I ordered chicken wings and egg rolls. Both were mediocre. I could smell the old, burnt grease when I walked in the restaurant and I could taste it in my food. The staff was very friendly, hence the 2 stars.

I get it Yelpers this is a neighborhood spot with cheap prices and big portions.I have been looking for a Chinese restaurant with authentic good tasting food. Sad to say I am still looking.I ordered a variety of food and nothing stood out or made me say to myself.... Damn that's good.I'm trying not to be to critical of The Hot Wok so I will keep it short.Let me know what your experience has been fellow Yelpers and Foodies.So let it be written.... So let it be CLOSED!

We did not receive what we ordered. We ordered Szechuan Chicken which was not what we received. Also added a Pork Eggroll that wasn't in the bag. Not sure if it is the delivery person's issue or the restaurant.

Good reliable American chinese food our Go-To takeout place. I like the Singapore Mei Fun and my bf gets their combo plates. Great for family style sharing if you get the entrees bc they come packed with food.Egg rolls and Wontons hit the spot!

I needed something different and had heard some good things about this place. Today I decided to try it out and had the sweet and sour chicken and the crab rangoon.Regarding the food, I was pleasantly surprised. The crab rangoon was some of the best I have ever tried. The sweet and sour chicken was equally as good and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.NOTE: I was a bit surprised at how all of this is given to you and possibly I was not aware of how they operated. I received a typical oriental style box with the fried chicken, another with the white rice and a container of the sweet and sour sauce. I honestly thought I would get one large container with the seasoned chicken and another with the rice, similar to Panda King but that was not the case. Furthermore, I did not receive any utensils. Thank goodness I was bringing it back to a location where I had a plate and utensils or I would have been searching for something to use to eat!Will I go back, yes, but next time I know that I have to be prepared to mix it all together. Maybe that sounds like a whine, but if you are bringing it back to eat at your desk at work, that makes it a bit more complicated.

The beef and broccoli was inedible. Whatever the brown "meat" was in the container was horrible. Thin, slimy, rubbery morsels that made my stomach turn after one bite. I my opinion, this item should definitely be discontinued.

The food is ok if you're craving Chinese food. Service is fast and food easy to pick up. Specific dishes: My kid loved the egg drop soup and gobbled it up. The chicken fried rice should be called "onion fried rice", as the whole dish was full of huge chunks of onions. Don't order this unless you love onions. The chicken and broccoli was good. You have to ask for chopsticks, plates, napkins. They won't give it to you automatically. No ambiance to speak of. Hot and small waiting room and was smoky. Better to call in your order and come pick it up.
