Holy smokes! I LOVE this place! Have been here twice now and both times, this restaurant knocked it out of the park in every way possible. First of all, the ambiance: it's beachy, light and fun. Plenty of indoor AND outdoor seating with lots of close parking spots even though it's in the downtown area of the town. The way the tables are set up provide for an intimate setting and it's just q great place for dining.Now let me tell you about the food/drinks: happy hour is from 5-7 everyday and you can get house wines for $2.75 a glass! They have a decent selection, too! They have a fresh catch of the day every day and the first time I came it was the triple tail and I ordered it and I LOVED it!! So delicious!On my second visit I ordered the tacos! On Tuesdays they're two for $6.50 and they are SO good! Blackened mahi with delicious seasonings - I feel like I'm in Heaven!And saving the best for last: the service. The employees are friendly, accommodating, and on point with recommendations, expediency, and making you feel right at home.I love this restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone who is ever in the area.Also, my seafood hating man got a chicken Caesar salad and loved it. Quaint no frills cafe near the beach. Excellent caesar salad, fried seafood, and gumbo. Their gumbo is one of the best on the coast and Im born and raised in New Orleans. The rice is a little al dente or possibly basmati which is random but the overall flavor is on point. Service is just ok, dishes will sit on your table for the whole dining experience and refills arent happening too quickly. Flies can be an issue but I blame that on the location not necessarily cleanliness. Prices are reasonable.

The strangest and most rude experience my family and I have ever had at a restaurant. Sat down outside with our napping baby and then waitress proceeded to ignore us for 30 minutes. Finally we left. It was upsetting. I still don't understand why they did that. Ruined the afternoon

Very busy when we went for dinner so we opted to sit outside. It was a hot 90+ day but not too bad in the covered outdoor seating area. The food was...good not great. I got the Parmesan crusted chicken. It just needed something more. More pepper or more sauce or a pop of lemon. Something. Good not great. Wait staff seemed very busy and a little distracted. They were friendly enough. But not as attentive as I would have liked to see. We had to ask about a missing order of fries. The same member of our party who was missing his fries also never got a drink refill. It was promised but never delivered.

Always great!! My daughter and I shared the Goat Cheese Summer Salad and the Chicken Wrap. Both delicious!!! Service is always on point. Love this restaurant and always look forward to going here.

Nice atmosphere. Great selection but we always get the pastas because they're amazing! We love Hook and have never had a bad meal!

I loved this place and would like to go back. This place has good food. I enjoyed the seafood pasta. The salad was fresh. The Apple desert was good too. The service is great. The ambiance is very nice. I'd like to try their outdoor seating next time as it looks calming out there.

Excellent food! Excellent service! Great atmosphere. Highly recommend! We had the seafood pasta and friend shrimp platter. Thumbs up! Bread was excellent.
