The best donuts in the city. It's across the river, so it may be a drive for some people, but worth every second of that drive. The buttermilk drops will make you cry when you run out of them, and the jelly donuts are made with actual jelly, not that processed syrup junk they use at the chains. If you don't go here your friends will shun you and your family will disown you, and you will agree that they are correct in doing so.

After 3 months of low carb dieting, this morning marks my return to Mr. B's (formerly Honey Whip) and I can not even begin to explain the magic. Between the awe inspiring customer service, and the best cream filled and jelly filled donuts I've ever had, this is THE place to get an early morning treat on the Wank. Even though I only bought 3 and some change worth of donuts (2 cream filled and 2 raspberry filled) the owner treated me like I spent hundreds, as he does everyone who comes into his business. Truly a pleasure to do business with. Again, I say, I need to eat lunch here as it looks great and very affordable.

I've only had their donuts so I can only speak to that. The donuts are probably a pound or close to it. Well glazed, clearly homemade, and unlike anything you can get anywhere else. Very delicious, very well priced. Nice homely place to have in Algiers.

So great to have a local donut shop with great donuts. This isn't some trendy place, just a basic local donut shop with a great product! Owner is a super nice guy. Stop by and try 'em

Home of the $2 tuna poboy and $6.00 king cake. This is not a drive-across- town-to-visit place to grab chow, but a really really cheap place for those in the neighborhood. The owner was very nice, and said he was more interested in charging what his customers could afford. This place is in a poorer neighborhood. The king cake was essentially a 15" donught with colored icing, and lemon filling, but it was really really cheap. You get what you pay for I suppose. I'm interested in the $2 poboy. THey also have a bigger lunch menu (poboys) of take out only which does not look too bad.

I've only had the doughnuts. The guy working there was super super nice. I got some buttermilk drops and some glazed. So fresh and so homemade. I can't describe it but it's like these doughnuts had a little something extra in them that separates them from other doughnuts.

I only frequent this spot about 3 to 4 times a month to limit my sugar intake. The donuts are the best in the city and could probably rival on a national basis. My favorite is the chocolate donut, but the honey bun will change your life also.
