Great tour! Jessica is kind and gracious and understood my anxiety over being a person of color in Louisiana. Our guided trip was so amazing - she has so much deep knowledge and curiosity about the area - the experts at University call on her! Our trip consisted our my family and another couple, the pace was very comfortable and we saw one of the best examples of old growth bald cypress in the state. The launch is private, so you won't see anyone else. It was truly a trip back in time.

Jessica is an amazing host and guide - I had the time of my life. She is so incredibly kind, knowledgeable and supportive of every experience level. Safety is top priority to her and she also does a lot of conservation work, dating cypress trees and cleans up the bayou. All-around impressive. She shared so many really interesting facts about the local flora, fauna and wildlife. I'm a native Louisianian and she taught me so many things I didn't know! I'm so thankful for this experience - I can't recommend her tour enough.

Jess was a wonderful tour guide and knows so much about the Honey Island swamp area. She grew up in the area and has so much pride in what she does and where she is from! She provides an incredibly educational and fun experience, expertly pointing out various flora and fauna and telling stories about the swamp. We had a great time during our 2.5 hr tour and are excited to return to see the swamp again at a different time of year! Highly recommended!

Jessica and Mike are superstars! We were able to book a kayak tour last minute and also added transportation to/from the French Quarter (for an extra fee per person). Jessica is super knowledgeable of the local wildlife, history, and we got to see some beautiful cypress trees, river otters, turtles, b, alligator etc. It was a very small group and slow paced-- you can really take in the sounds and scenery. Highly highly recommend this tour!

I loved everything about this tour! Jessica was incredibly knowledgeable and just all-around fun to spend time with. The swamp itself was gorgeous and it felt amazing to be able to spend time in such a special place. We were in a pretty big group and Jessica was such a pro in working with us to make sure we were safe, comfortable, and engaged (even for first-time kayakers!). I'd come back in a heartbeat!

This tour was incredible. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for an intimate, beautiful tour of swamps from someone who knows them inside and out. Jess went above and beyond, even coming back for us to help when our car got stuck in the mud later that day after the tour was well over. If you're looking for a swamp tour that genuinely cares about the swamp ecosystem and isn't just interested in making money by feeding alligators, look no further!

A kayak tour with Jessica is a MUST if you're visiting the New Orleans-area! Jessica's lifelong relationship with the swamp and love of its flora and fauna inhabitants makes for a delightful few hours learning from her. Jessica and Mike were so kind and welcoming, even bringing our group extra blankets and warm gear as the day we went ended up being quite cold! Note: I am not a kayaker and found the experience to be totally manageable! No prior experience needed!

This was the such a beautiful and informative tour. Jessica is so generous with sharing her deep knowledge of the swamps and the local flora and fauna! Her passion for conservation and her love of the land was inspiring. The experience kayaking through the tree tops was so serene. We got to see some ancient trees, one was 700 years old :o, a snake and an osprey, just to name a few highlights. I highly recommend taking this tour.
