This is a wonderful gift shop, that specializes in local artist made items. If you are looking for quality items to gift or take home as a souvenir of your visit to New Orleans, this shop is a great choice! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The offerings are interesting and well made. The store is pleasantly arranged and easy to browse. Prices are fair. (This is NOT a French Quarter junky souvenir shop!)

Loved this cute little store! Lots of unique arts and crafts, unique from other places I went in NOLA.The lady behind the counter was so sweet, friendly and accommodating - loved it. It was a pleasure supporting local artists and artisans at this store, there's a coffee shop next door too for a quick stop if you're feeling thirsty or need espresso.Highly recommend!

New Orleans/Louisana made gifts? This is your place! I picked up some fabulous pottery and a children's book on my visit here. I can't wait to get home to put them to use. The staff is friendly but not overbearing. The shop itself is laid out with a comfortable flow for meandering. If you are in Mid City, shop here then grab a cup of Cafe au Lait next door at The Bean Gallery. It makes for a good day.

I came here with Sweets looking for an engagement present for a niece. Plenty of nice things!! I like to shop but never been crazy for these kind of stores. Typical guy. There was some unique things here that I haven't seen at similar shops. I guess that is the name of the game. Try and have something unique and not from a boutique store catalogue. There was definitely a few familiar items I see at other stores but there is plenty of unique local things.Had it not been for riding around with Sweets I would of never stopped here.

Looking for a locally owned shop that sells locally made products? Then Home Malone is the place! I love this shop so much and the owner Kristin is simply awesome! Home Malone sells a variety of local art, jewelry, pottery, baby outfits, soaps, candles, and knick knacks to decorate your home or office. There is such a cool vibe in the shop and even though it's small there are so many cool things to look at and pick from. I find something new every time I go, and am constantly amazed at the variety of products offered. Just a heads up that most of the merchandise is "NOLA" themed, but in a really cool way.One more really awesome thing about this shop is that Kristin holds paint classes. I've been to a paint class thanks to the invitation of another Yelper. It's one of the most fun things I've done in so long! Definitely consider signing up for the paint class!

I'm going to say it for possibly the millionth time in my life: SHOP LOCAL.Now I know, that's a bit ironic since I am not a New Orleans local (yet), however every time I am in town, or if I am online looking for something special and more unique than what you'd find out of a box store, Home Malone is one of the first places I like to hit up.This store is great for almost anything you're looking for -- décor, jewelry, holiday items, unique kitchen wares and cocktail mixes -- all local flavor by local artists. I've picked up many different items from here across my trips (from either location) because I know what I bring home will be unique and not like other souvenirs that you find that were all made in China. Their locations are small, but they are jam packed with local goodies and it's important that you take your time to look everywhere -- floor, tables, walls, banisters, you name it! There are great items everywhere you look so even though she be small, she is fierce!

Long overdue review! I discovered this adorable local shop last Christmas and they have a great selection of stuff. Lots of artistic oriented gifts, mostly with a NOLA theme. Cute baby stuff, crafty items, jewelry and art.I've pretty much bought something everytime I've been in. This year it was an oyster themed tea towel, a handturned wooden spoon, and art. I was back last night for their After Hours Art Pop-Up. My gift for my Mom just wasn't working out and I found the most ridiculous perfect gift from one of the vendors. Whew. And I'm done.Definitely a place to stop and buy great NOLA/Louisiana themed gifts... or maybe even something for yourself. Those clay cheese boards...hmmm
