Great location just 2 blocks from bourbon street and canal street. St charles streetcar stop is one block away. Decent exercise room. Good prices at the bar. Very helpful and friendly staff. Just be prepared for the sales pitch for the timeshare plan but a firm no and we were on our way. Definitely would stay here again.

Very nice and spacious room. It literally felt like a home away from home. The staff was very nice and accommodating, especially the front desk agents and the bellmen. The bartender was also very sweet and made me the perfect dirty martini. The location is perfect for exploring the French quarter, but sort of out of the way of all the excitement that happens on Bourbon street. The only thing that was a downside was the tiny "dipping pool" ... the location of the pool on the rooftop is so perfect and could have been a nice vibe but it literally only holds a handful of people .

$350 a night, no housekeeping. The hotel is a front for timeshare sales. It took a half hour after saying no to get a room key. Nearly missed our dinner reservation.

Treated well while here, although they were trying to sell me a timeshare, I know they're just trying to do their job.

Of course it's five star! I have been a rewards member since 2013 and have been wanting to be an owner in the Holiday Inn Vacation Club for a couple years since I first found out about it. I booked a week in New Orleans and from my first and repeated interactions with Mrs. Sue to the concierge folk, the bartenders, the maintenance crew, the front desk (shout out to Kileigh and Mariah!), to my wonderful sales person Margo! Every step of the was friendly and welcoming! I walked into my sales meeting wanting to say yes so it was really just a matter of finding the numbers that worked for me. I can't say enough wonderful things about the people and property! I just wish I got the names of the other folks that elevated my stay by simply being kind and courteous. I am looking forward to trying other properties and continuing to explore my country and the world!

The front check in staff was ok. HOWEVER, the man at the front door checking in luggage & getting cabs/transportation was rude!! He did NOT open the door for me upon entering. He left a negative lasting impression. I did not get his name but it was during Friday, March 15, 2024, around 5:15 pm. The woman prior to him was pleasant, professional & nice. I think holiday inn needs to conduct an employee evaluation on this individual. Because he is rude as heck!! Never again will I want to stay there because of this last impression . I hope the hormone manager sees this review & the CEO. BTW: we stayed in room 805.

The saying goes, sometimes it's your own folks that do you wrong. I'm a timeshare OWNER at this property and have been disappointed my last 2 visits. The first time I was here for 8 days with no heat in the winter. The management apologized profusely and remedied the situation though we never had heat. This last time I was there for 12 days and had a busted shower. I wasn't just a leak, it wouldn't shut off. Our room was musty and moist the entire time. Every night we listened to running water, and awoke to everything moist and wet in the bathroom. I complained EVERYDAY we were there, to no avail. As a property owner I was mortified. I pay annual maintenance dues and they go where? Management NEVER contacted me. It's disappointing that a resort with such great potential would be so calloused and remiss in the handling of a guests comfort and safety. The potential for mold is almost guaranteed in that environment. Traveling as an asthmatic AND with a child I feel our health was jeopardized. I called corporate and was told the individual hotels are responsible for remediation. Wow! Corporate doesn't control a franchise, and the hotel management ignored my complaints. How disheartening! It's egregious that my hard earned money isn't valued, nor me respected enough to have at LEAST been engaged in a conversation. I've invested my money here so unfortunately I'll return, but begrudgingly. I like to be where I'm welcomed and not just tolerated. No other properties have I ever had problems with. Do better New Orleans!

Don't use the valet service at the New Orleans Holiday Inn Club Vacations New Orleans Resort - part of the IHG Hotels & ResortsMy car camera recorded the valet taking it for a 30 minute run to do what looked like a drug exchange in some sketchy neighborhood. Hitting speeds up to 86 mph, blowing through red lights at over 50 mph without slowing down. When I discovered this on my car camera, after leaving, the Holiday Inn Club Vacations front desk couldn't care less and just kept directing me to the third party parking company they use. Nothing like having your vehicle used at high speeds for an apparent drug run and then just being shrugged off

Amazing location. Right when you pull up the woman that greets you at the door really sets the tone to what would be an amazing stay.
