Hog Alley Lounge

Nice little hideout on Metairie road with a good selection of liquor and food options. The bartender was really friendly and it was a nice place to pass time mid day.

I'd go to Hog Alley just for the best bartender!!!! Audrey makes the best drinks ever!!! I wish I lived in New Orleans so I could be her regular. The ambiance it's very loud and packed, but I like how you can order food easily and how fast it comes fresh and tasty. I'll be back for sure, Im still thinking about the margaritas Audrey made me and my friends!

Kayla is a treasure, excellent, and on task! Very happy with this experience. 9 large TVs for this clean bar and patio. Great ambience, music selection, lighting, and space. (Music is quality country, soft rock 90s, 2000s, today) Very good old fashioned bourbon. Single Barrel Four Roses bourbon, twisted orange peel (not muddled bc that's crazy), angostura and orange bitters, cherry and cubed ice.Tiered selection of variety libations. Even noticed ole Ghost IPA on draft. Well done. Come visit. Leave happy. -M

Endless liquor options, great service, and even better food. Went to this place on a whim when in the area. Will make it a point to go back. Best smash burger I've ever had.

Atmosphere is great. Bar and wait staff are very friendly! Hosted a fundraiser group event there and it went very well!

Friends told me about this place so I stopped by for lunch. Background: The name comes from the fact this area was once the location of pig farms. The owners have a second place in Mid City that another guest at Hog's Alley told me has great food, too. The menu is sort of small but very diverse. I had the fried shrimp basket and I'm a bit of a snob on fried shrimp. These were delicious. Excellent batter, tasty, and no iodine flavor at all. The jalapeno hush puppies were equally excellent. Fries were good but I can do without fries. Jaimie the bartender/server was friendly and very helpful. Not many people at 1 on Sunday but that didn't bother me. I'll go back.

I ordered a steak quesadilla for lunch today October 12, 2023 gave the female bartender my money in her hand but low and behold she sat my change on the damn counter so rude.
