Hill Top Inn Restuarant

One of my favorite places to visit!! Food is excellent and so is the service. Would recommend the shrimp or burger :)

My husband and I came to eat dinner here a couple months ago. I've haven't been in a very long time. The food was very good, our waitress was amazing. Everyone was nice and accommodating to our needs. Thank you for a delicious meal.

We took retired army buddies and wives here to share our culture . We were greeted poorly right upon entrance . We asked to sit outside to show our beautiful spring day and river . They cannot accommodate 7 people . We were separated husbands and wives and that was fine except we were charged an automatic tip of ( $45 ) as if we were a party of 7. At the wives table 6 we moved one table away to be more intimate because there were only three of us we were curtly told we could not move a table . Very uncomfortable visit . What happen to our " southern hospitality " we are so famous for ? I was very embarrassed of our local Resturant we bragged about to our New York friends and they said no worries we're used to bad service

My niece and nephew work here and I'm never disappointed with the food when I'm visiting in Maurepas. The Hilltop easily feeds 3-4 ppl.

The food and the place used to be great, but now it's very heard to catch them when they're open. We used to come here 3-4 times a week. It's as if they open when they feel like it. The food has gone downhill. I don't go here unless someone asks me to, which is never...

The food and server Whitney were great. Being under staffed, it seemed a bit unorganized. Saw several couples leave, not sure how long their wait was. Ours was about 45 minutes, on average, not bad. After we were seated, our server, Whitney, was courteous and attentive. We made our complete Order at the same time, drinks, appetizer, and meal. To avoid being lost in the shuffle. Though our appetizer arrived AFTER our salad, we were hungry, so, no foul....My steak was to order and NOT over done. The wife's Half and Half was satisfying to her. So, allow for the under staffing and enjoy the evening out. Worth it!!!

We are being treated poorly.I can't excuse the poor service here tonight. I 100 percent know at this point that the staff does not care about our experience here. We came in for a GO order. Simple, like an order of onion rings and few other things off the appetizer menu. We placed our order at the bar, and began a LENGTHY wait. The lady behind the bar literally acted like we were invisible. My family and I have been coming here for a long time, and normally we are treated well.

The menu is very deceiving. Asked for a stuff crab and an appetizer and they said no they can't do an add on to an appetizer. Then I asked for the stuffed crab to be served with my poboy. The waitress said no problem. 2 mins later she said she can't serve a stuffed crab with a poboy. I will say this restaurant is Not customer friendly and they don't care!

Waited for 45 minutes to be seated at a table (party of 5), open tables in several locations of room. Got drinks, waited another 30 minutes for appetizers. Waiter took our food order 2 hours later we still had not received our meals. (watched tables around us be seated, get their meals, eat and leave.) At this point we were very aggravated and decided to leave. Part of our party still had to drive another hour and a half to get home. When we asked to speak to the manager (who was very rude to us) we were told our order had been turned in 30 minutes ago (definitely not true) and we needed to pay for the meals we had ordered or it would come out of the waiters pay. As we were talking to the manager they start bringing out our order. Because my daughter works in the food service industry she felt bad for the waiter and paid the bill (almost $300). Will not ever go back to this restaurant. Really bad experience. Don't know who owns this place but you might want to check out the staff you have hired.

Kinda pricey but never had anything bad. I usually sit at bar all the bartenders are super friendly. Been multiple times over years and never had a problem though minor they couldn't fix right away.
