Hidden Adventure Swamp & Plantation Tours

Had a great time kayaking Manchac Swamp in April 2017. Unique experience and a must while in NOLA. We drove ourselves and while the directions are incredibly intimidating, "DON'T MISS THE EXIT!!!" I appreciate the level of detail and we found the spot with no problem. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna around us. He also knew about the landscape and environmental problems the area is facing. Lastly, the pace was appropriate for all levels of kayakers and allowed ample time to take in the beauty of the bayou. We had an experience of a lifetime and would highly recommend this company!

What a hidden gem!!!! The whole afternoon was a total blast!! It was like being in a secret world off the beaten path.. Our guide Ross knew a ton of back history and pointed out so many cool birds, plants, even a few little alligators! I wouldn't hesitate to do the Manchec tour every weekend if I could. Highly recommended if you like being outdoors and in good company! Worth every penny and then some!!!
