Hibachi Xpress

The Yum Yum sauce was YUMMY!!!! I have never had anything like it at any other place in town. The vegetable rice serving is very substantial and tastes awesome! The steak was tender and tasty. I could have skipped the soup and salad if that is an option. We walked in to order and were told that it would be ready in 20 minutes, so we ran to Rouses to pick up a few groceries. Next time we will probably phone ahead. If you are contemplating this restaurant for take out - go for it! If you want to dine in, be aware that it is basically a strip mall with limited seating available. It is fun to watch them cook your meal.

Stopped by this Chinese hibachi spot late at night when the craving for something exotic. Spoiler alert: it was not the thing you crave at 1 AM. It wasn't terrible, just kinda... bland. Like, if vanilla ice cream were a meal. The hibachi chef did their best, but there was no punch, no fire, no Louisiana flair--just a lot of rice and some vegetables that could've used a little more spice. I was hoping for a bit more jazz, but instead, I got the culinary equivalent of watching paint dry. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything I'm gonna dream about at 2 AM, either. If you like your hibachi with a dash of excitement, maybe skip this one.

The service was really good, it's mostly a take out type place but there are a few seats, real nice place the food tasted amazing, the chicken literally melted in our mouths. It's also one of the only places in BR I've found that has actual yumyum sauce. I won't be getting fried rice from anywhere else again!

There was a very long hair tired into our bag of food. Very nasty.Food: it's not the absolute worst hibachi but for the price, atmosphere, service (did not take it well when I asked for my steak to be cooked to medium well instead of medium), taste of food and wait time you could go to Tokyo and have a nicer experience.A lot of people seem to visit this place for to go orders, so it's all about your decision To Express Or Not To Express.Hair is still a problem. (Reddish hair)The portions are a 10/10.No ginger was a disappointment.

Food arrived hot and quickly. It was delicious. There were very large portions. Each plate could feed 2 people.

Food was pretty good. Everything is made to order so it was fresh. I ordered the shrimp and chicken combination with fried rice and noodles. Was a decent price for the large portion given along with Mushroom Soup and salad. (1 yumyum sauce included) . Service was fast and the cashier gave efficient customer service for takeout order. Establishment appeared clean and had seating for diners along with a television. Inside my salad were a couple of hairs which spoiled the experience for me.

Extremely friendly staff and amazing food!! When I walked in I was immediately greeted and the nice lady even asked how my exams were going! I ordered the hibachi fried rice triple combo and it was so delicious! So much food/meat for only $12! I will 100% be going back. Great job guys! (disclaimer: I took a few bites of my food before taking the picture... the container was filled to the brim!!)

This place was pretty good for what it was. It's a hole-in-the-wall restaurant with nice people working. I grabbed a lychee marble soda from the cooler but it was missing the top part you use to push the marble so they gave me another one on the house. I ordered the hibachi chicken lunch and I got it with the clear soup and fried rice. I also ordered some pan-fried pork gyoza. The gyoza was good. It was different than I usually have. The dough wrapper was noticeably thicker but it still tasted good. The hibachi chicken was good but it was a very small portion. The fried rice was alright - nothing too fancy. The clear soup was good too. This place is a generally fine place to go if others are closed.

I wasn't greeted when I entered, but the people after me were greeted with an immense amount of enthusiasm. They ordered after I did and got their food 15 minutes before I got mine. Horrible service coupled with mediocre food is a travesty. Never spending another dime in this place.

This place is awesome. Food is always great and you get to watch it made if you go in and order. Spring rolls were awesome but sometimes the salad was... iffy. Miso soup is a little bland and watered down for my liking. Lot of food for what you pay! Regular here in college
