Hello Tokyo II

This location is in a shopping center. Parking can be challenging certain times of the day. Restaurant is well decorated but not all that clean. We ordered take out. Service was beyond slow. I ordered chicken hibachi. It was terrible. Veggies were limp wet mess, chicken was dry and flavor less and the rice tasted old and reheated. My husband ordered a TNT roll with extra wasabi. It came with no wasabi at all. It was lack luster as well. Would not return. Poor service and bad food is just not a good combo.

After driving in afternoon traffic to Gonzales from Baton Rouge to pickup dinner for my son's birthday on a weekday, we ordered 103.00 worth of food for pickup. We ordered two shrimp and chicken hibachi dinners and one steak and shrimp. The two shrimp and chicken dinners were wrong-- we received two shrimp and the rest steak. The order was completely incorrect. It ruined our birthday celebration. After traveling in afternoon traffic only to sit down to 103.00 of wrong food. We who ordered SHRIMP AND CHICKEN DON't EAT RED MEAT. So now what? We picked out the red meat and ate part of a meal. It was gross. I paid $103.00 for bad service. Disappointing reveal of our dinner and a frustrating drive to get this meal. Used to be one of our favorite places. And get someone who will speak up on the phone. Nothing exciting to say. It was an average restaurant and I have definitely had better. I thought the waitress was a little rude we had only been sitting 15 minutes and she was asking about bringing the check. They weren't really busy so I don't know what the rush was. The food was ok. I had the veggie soup, the veggie spring roll and the avocado roll and like I said there was nothing to get excited about. It's definitely not one of my top 20 in 2020 to return too.

Sushi was good. But the shrimp dish was much to be desired. Has to have been foreign shrimp. I'll keep going, but I'll never get shrimp again

If I could give this place 000 I would! First, let me say that we used to love this place. The last time we ate here it was ok. Not great but okay. It's now Sunday after thanksgiving and we are craving something different. So we ordered take out. 2 Hawaiian rolls and LSU roll and a shrimp tempura roll and hibachi fried rice with beef. ALL of the rolls were not made with fresh ingredients. The shrimp was rubbery and the crawfish had a foul smell. The Hawaiian rolls are supposed to have cream cheese and avocado. It had little bits. The rice was hard and had no flavor and no veggies. The beef was chewy and gray in color. I called the restaurant and the girl that answered told me they didn't have a manager there(which is probably why food was sent out like that) and didn't even apologize. They used to have great management. I will never eat here again. Would not recommend anyone else to eat here. Seafood can be dangerous served bad.

It's has a nice setting, food taste great, polite service, can't complain at all. I will definitely be back soon!

I order togo orders about 1 week I don't know y I keep going back the foods eatable but the people n services there is terrible I've never been to another restaurant with the worst service... i would not recommend this place they very rude ... when they mess yr order up they don't want to remake it or give you another order it's ridiculous

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO SALT AND LIGHT. I wish there was a 0 star option. Everytime i order from there they mess something up. You could order a napkin and they would give you a fork service is horrible. Front desk servers suck and scroll on phone all day and are rude.

It's not great but it's really not bad either. If you're new to sushi and Japanese food this place is a good start.

Ordered drinks and they came. Then, waited another 20 minutes and still hadn't been able to order. There were only 2 other tables in the restaurant and one was leaving. Waitress was nowhere to be found. Won't be coming back.
