Pretty good neighborhood grocery store but I really like the wine selections available

Worst snowball I have ever had in Louisiana. They are like those nasty snow cone thinks up north with the chunky ice. I asked someone to take a bit and tell me what flavor it was, they didn't know...just sugar syrup. It's took 3 people 5 minutes to make two "snowballs"...so sad.

I love shopping local and when I first moved here about 10 years ago it was my go to spot. Now I only go when I need the bare necessities. I stopped buying vegetables and other produce because it just didn't last as long as it used to. I started noticing it after Landry's ( now Rouses) built their new store and I assume it's because people started shopping there where there are more options so, the produce sits longer than usual. Perhaps Harvest would benefit from getting more produce from local farmers so the "shelf life" will be longer. For instance, if Harvest was getting fresh weekly produce from local farmers I would definitely shop there more often because I love the small town grocery vibe they have.

A great local market. It's conveniently located close to where I live as well as on my way home from work. Their produce is very good and their meat/deli counter is fantastic! Lots of specialty meats. Their steak and stuffed chicken are amazing. It's more expensive than other local / small business members of Associated Grocer's [read: LeBlanc's Frais Marche], but still better than big chain food stores.

This store is a member of the Associated Grocers...and it's a great little place to shop...they have a wonderful selection of cheeses as well as a fantastic deli and bakery...the fried fish is mouth watering delicious...the bakery offers some great desserts and the many fresh bread offerings will have you struggling to make up your mind over what to select.They carry quality meats and when they have a sale on their steaks it's time to stock up!! Also the beer, wine and spirits selection may seem somewhat surprising given the small size but like everything else about this place it is top notch.The place is always packed and truly convenient for those living in the area of crossroads of LA Hwy 73 and LA Hwy 74. I'm lucky to have such a great local market so close to my current residence!!

Love my neighborhood market! Staff is always friendly, food always fresh, any problems have always been handled immediately. I shop here about 5 days a week!

A very good place to shop. It is just down the road from where my family lives. The prices are fair and the workers are nice and give directions on where things are when you have a question.

Harvest finally opened in Gonzalez Louisiana excellent news. The only suggestion tonight would have is a bit. Selfish. My 2 golden retrievers love pumpkin puree, which most stores have. But this particular harvest in Gonzalez, Louisiana does not. Just a thought, John.Sorry for the grammar, but I can't edit.

I visited this market for the first time on New Years Eve afternoon. Very crowded. The minute I walked in, my instinct was to turn around and leave. I wish I had. Within seconds after I entered, an unmasked woman standing in the check out line coughed without covering her mouth as I walked by. Long check out lines with unmasked individuals and no social distancing--packed together like sardines.This business is careless about protecting its customers. They are ignoring mandated safety measures. Shopping carts are not sanitized. Many customers are not wearing masks. Neither mask wearing or social distancing is being monitored or enforced. Citizens deserve more from an essential service like a grocery store. I feel sorry for residents of Geismar that have few options for grocery services. I care about my health and the health of my community. I will not be returning to this super market. It's not super.

Great local store for your everyday needs! Deli with a variety of party trays and also offer a hot lunch bar Monday-Friday! Awesome bakery with cakes and more for any occasion!
