Happy Wok Restaurant

Ordered General Tso's Chicken, Vege Lo Mein and Vege 3egg Foo Young. I was so disappointed with the food. I gave it 2 stars because the General Tso was ok. The Egg Foo Young was greasy and I couldnt figure out what veges was used. There was NO beans sprouts, and I know bean sprouts are one of the main ingredients besides the egg. It was horrible. The Lo Mein was not good. It tasted as if it had been in the refrigerator a long time. I have ordered food from here many times before and never experienced this. I hope this a one time thing. Unfortunately, I wont be back. Just an overall bad experience. And, food is too expensive to take a chance.

Fresh and hot ! Well seasoned and good customer service. Definitely worth the stop. The portions are great.

Food is normally good but the cashier is just extremely rude every single time. She answered the phone rude & had a nasty attitude when I asked the sizes of the low mein. Whatever maybe it was a misunderstanding, but when we went in to pay she had the same attitude. We asked how long of a wait it would be and she says I don't know with an aggravated look. She did not even pretend to be customer friendly one bit

Happy Wok is a great Chinese food take out, they serve plenty and always good and fast service.

Not a good experience here! They offer lunch buffet. Maybe 15 people where in restaurant. Buffet was half empty exhausted my whole lunch break waiting for them to put more food out. What food that was available was good.

I love this place! The food is always fresh and hot! The best Pork Lo Mein I've ever eaten!

Happy Wok has gotten an upgrade! When we first moved here several years ago, it was very unappealing - to the point that we didn't even eat there. But we'd heard some positive buzz recently, so we decided to check it out. I'm assuming they're under new ownership, and they definitely have a new vibe! They offer both Cantonese and Japanese dishes, and you can go for the buffet or order off the menu. The buffet isn't super cheap - $11.75 a person - but it's a good price for what they offer. (If you're trying to economize and don't plan on at least two trips to the buffet, ordering off the menu might be your better option.) Several different types of sushi and sashimi and a variety of hot dishes, as well as appetizers like egg rolls and crab rangoon, graced the buffet table. My younger son's favorite on the buffet was the pepper shrimp. I was just happy to get some good sushi. We've only been the one time, so they may rotate through different dishes on the buffet. When we go back again, I'll update with that information. The restaurant was clean and attractive, and the food is worth going back for. My older son wasn't with us when we stopped in, so we got him an order of chicken lo mein to go. He eats everything that isn't tied down, and this to-go order of lo mein was big enough that he had leftovers. It makes me ridiculously happy to have good Chinese food literally minutes away. My fortune cookie says there will be many visits to Happy Wok in our future!

I like the Happy Wok in Addis. I prefer them over another local Chinese place. The food seems fresher and ingredients top notch. I'll be coming back now that the Buffett recently reopened.

Great food, good portion size for the money. It's mainly a take out restaurant, there are a few tables. It was clean and I like you can see the kitchen. Our order was ready for pickup on time and lady at register was very nice.

Our go-to for a quick and delicious meal when we don't want to cook. Food is always ready in less than 20 min. The portions are HUGE. So happy to have Happy Wok here in Addis. Get the beef lo-mein & large wonton soup. Put the lo-mein in the soup for your own DIY ramen/delicious soup. :D
