I've been wanting to come here for a minute because I always need cigars and I always pass them up on my rides. I have to be honest I was highly impressed with their selection and the customer service! It was my first time so I had a lot of question on where things were. The guy was super helpful, I really like that because it makes you want to come back and recommend them to others. I typically go for a Maduro leaf and always look for a new one I don't have. He pointed me in the right direction and got me squared away. I think if you are a cigar smoker or want to try some this is a good place to go.

I can't believe this was my first time here. I usually get together with friends for a weekly cigar night. I was making a cigar run and decided to try Habana. I was impressed as soon as I walked through the door. There are cigars from wall to wall. Whether you are new to cigars or refilling your humidor, Habana has got you covered. I already knew which cigars I wanted on this visit but next time I'll take the staff's suggestion.

Simply the best cigar shop. Immediate friendly assistance. A very large selection of most any cigar desired. On hand was the Eiroa 20 series requested. This cigar was perfectly humidified and smoked most excellently. This will be our go to cigar shop. We've been to cigar shops across this great country and found this cigar store gem to be tops. Thanks for reading. Avram Castro

If you want to be treated like a criminal, just walk in. The owner followed me around the store as soon as I walked in like I was going to rob the place. I have bought from them a few times previously, (never when the owner was there) but never in my life have I ever been treated so rudely. He was disgusting to say the least.Obviously, I will NEVER go back!

While I would not say my local B&Ms have a bad selection by any means, they just don't carry much in terms of the higher end sticks. So, this week I took about a 30 mile trip to Habana Port because I heard they had some of the better Fuente and Davidoff products. As I approached the store from the outside it looked a bit smaller than I had expected and I immediately assumed that it was probably a waste of a trip. Thankfully, however, as soon as I entered the store I was in heaven. Cigars from floor to ceiling on six walls; four walls with a wall down the middle of the store that was cut out towards the front. In front of each wall there were glass cases filled to the brim with goodies. They had everything I came looking for and more. There was so much in there it took me a few minutes to even get my bearings. Now other reviewers here had me a tiny bit concerned saying the owner "followed them around" suspiciously but I did not find that to be the case. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by an employee who I assumed was the owner asked how they could help. I told them I wanted to look for a second but I would certainly want some help after that. I slowly worked my way around to the other side of the store and eventually the man did come around to that side but he kept his distance and waited patiently for me to ask for assistance. Everything there was set up like a jewelry store in nice glass display cases or on shelves behind them so honestly I'd be more annoyed if I had to chase someone down to help me out. I mean I'm not walking behind the counter at Adler's grabbing Rolex's without assistance. Now that might be a stretch to some but if I'm paying $30-40 for a good cigar I don't want it to have been fondled numerous times by other browsing patrons. Overall, I loved the set up and I loved the one-on-one shopping experience I ultimately came to encounter. After browsing a bit the owner looking guy walked off and another guy working the shop came up and started helping me out. I'm now kicking myself for not remembering his name so I could make sure he's always there when I come. He was absolutely amazing and full of knowledge. I explained to him that I had come looking for some stuff that was a little bit more on the higher end to have for the approaching holidays. I told him about what I like and what I thought I was looking for and he helped guide me to an assortment of wonderful sticks. I would 100% recommend checking this place out if you like cigars or are looking to purchase cigars as a gift for someone in your life.

Imagine my surprise to be on my way to my pops house a couple weeks ago and see a brand spanking new cigar shop. Of course I stopped there and of course I browsed through there selection. So let me give it to you straight, no gurka, no rocky patel, no davidoff, no bunch of popular brands. But.... they have some damn good cigars here. I bought a Norteno Herrera, fairly expensive stick about $15, but my God was it a beautiful smoke. Full body but lighter and more elegant than any full bodied cigar I have ever had. The store owner pointed me toward that cigar after having a brief discussion with him about what I like to smoke. Apparently they use to be located on the north shore but the traffic started to slow so they decided a move closer to the city would help business. Well they certainly gained one new frequent customers. Now this place doesn't have a smoking lounge so you'll have to get your cigar to go until they find a location to accomadate a smoking lounge. I would recommend this place to anyone in search of a good cigar that may not be one of the usual suspects. I'll definitely be stopping through there as often as I can.

Good supply but i am not a fan of being followed around while i select cigars ... moving from aisle to aisle with me. Nah i will keep my money to myself. Get better cameras if that is a concern.

First off let me say that I rarely visit cigar shops to smoke, but instead to find rare hard to find sticks that you can buy online. With that being said, this place was an absolute gold mine and greatly expanded my current Arturo Fuente Opus X collection. The owner was also very nice and accommodating and not overly prideful like every other tobacconist I visited in New Orleans.

In my opinion, this is the best cigar shop in the entire New Orleans Metro area. I cannot understand how anybody would think that there is unfriendly service at this place. Arturo is fantastic and the entire staff knowledge of cigars is unprecedented. Literally some of the best selections and some of the best service. You can walk into this place and tell them exactly what type of cigar you want and they will give you a list of cigars to choose from high-end to low end.
