I am a former client. My dog has always looked great after each grooming appointment. Which I would give 5 stars for. They've granted any grooming requests I've made. The issue I had was my dog being left in a kennel while she wasn't being groomed. Every time i picked her up she would panting, barking, pacing inside the kennel. We do not kennel our dog and never have the entire time we've owned her which has been over 5 years since we rescued her. I have to bring a cup of water when I pick her up which was usually 2-3 hours later. Because I felt like she was extremely hot and thirsty and always drank all the water by the time I arrived home which takes 7 minutes. So if your dog has never been kenneled or has been traumatized from being kenneled due to it's past. I do not recommend this place. If your dog loves to socialize with other dogs and is kennel trained then by all means try it out.

My toy poodle came out perfect at their groomers and it only took a couple hours! I love that they aren't stuck in a cage all day like Petsmart and other places. $40 is a great price for the job they do. Will be returning in a couple months!

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER take your dog here for grooming! I believe the other 2 reviews written are from friends or family members. I have a poodle/bichon and he's had a bad groom before, but this one takes the cake. He has no hair left on his face and head. His ears and tail are whacked horribly and his butt is completely shaved. He doesn't even want to walk because it irritates him. It's going to take at least 6-8 months before I can get his ears and tail back to normal. The hack job on his ears is so bad they look like pony tails. Bless my little baby's heart! Save your dog the shame and never take your dog here!

The Grooming Cottage is a first class grooming salon with over 30 experience in grooming dogs. I have seen the groomer take on challenging dogs with serious behaviors - like biting and scratching, that no other groomer would attempt to groom. Today, she transformed my nephew's Golden Doodle from looking like a large mop, to a handsome show dog.

Took my puppy princess there. Annie did such a great job on her. She looks amazing with the new haircut. Annie is such a sweet person I can tell she loves her job and she enjoys working with pets. I will definitely be back my new favorite place. Thank you so much.

I have an elderly dog that needs his nails clipped monthly. I take him in the afternoons after 1:00 PM and they are fast to serve us. They seem to understand dogs. They kind and understanding in spite of his resistant behavior. The prices are super reasonable. Other customers seem pleased when they pick up their pets.

HORRIFIC! The lady at the front desk approached me as if I was bothering her upon arrival. I understand that you are busy but please at least greet people who are trying to patronize your business. Besides the poor customer service and rude staff, the grooming was ATROCIOUS. My poor baby looked so bad. His butt and elbows were completely shaved which made him extremely uncomfortable. He kept picking at it which made him more irritated and they did a terrible hack job on his poor little face. I am not sure where (or if) they received their training but I'm quite sure you can buy your own clippers and do a much better job. They cut my dog so close to the skin that there were blood spots on his chest, which of course I didn't notice until we got home and I went to rub his belly. His hair is black so I didn't see at first but now that I am looking closer you can see how bad it really is. If you care about your animal, DO NOT bring them here! Horrible job, and I will not be back. Would rate 0 out of 5 if I could.

I agree with Tammie C. in the review section. My husband and I went on vacation and decided to leave our 9 month old dog here. I visited this business prior to scheduling boarding. When I brought my dog in, the owner asked when would I pick up my dog. We agreed to Tuesday evening at 8:00pm because this is the time she claims she goes to the business to let the dogs out, check food and water for the last time for the evening. Earlier (5:52pm) we were in the process of landing from vacation, I receive a text asking me if I could leave my dog one more night because of a death in her family. I replied no - because I needed to pick up my dog as agreed. She said she could not be there to give me my dog but her niece was going there at 8:00pm to feed and water the dogs. I arrived at 8pm and NO ONE SHOWED UP. I sent the owner another message and told her I would not leave her driveway until my dog was released to me. Owner showed up at 9pm. I DON'T THINK SHE WOULD HAVE SHOWED UP AT ALL IF I HAD NOT DEMANDED THAT I GET MY DOG ON THE TIME WE AGREED ON.Upon entering, the place smelled so bad, the kennel area had not been cleaned, and the owner said she had been gone since 10am and her niece stayed. My little dog smelled, he was never given a bath and I did request a grooming. It never happened. I felt so bad for him.THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO THIS SITUATION. TAKE MY ADVICE -- DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET HERE. THE OWNER IS NOT AT ALL ABOUT HER CUSTOMERS (YOUR PETS).SHE WOULD HAVE HAD A BACK UP PLAN, IF SHE CARED.
