Griffin's Louisiana Grille - Thibodaux

The waitress was okay, but getting our food was extremely slow for a roast beef and a hamburger poboy. Do not order a hamburger poboy unless you want to pay $22.50. Highway robbery...after tax, tip, a 8" roast beef poboy, sweet potato fries, tea, and a hamburger poboy, we paid over $50.00. We ate at Walk-Ons the following day and we paid much less for much more food. We eat here quite often, but after this visit, we will visit other restaurants.

Decent food. Really friendly service. Prices are mostly reasonable for the portions. Just be aware that the prices on the menu aren't necessarily accurate, and you will not be told in advance unless you ask. I ordered the small butterfly shrimp, and I was charged $2 more than the menu price.

Love their food and seating. Customer service was well as well. Had a hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and it did not disappoint.

Fried shrimp platter was good but I expect more than 12 medium size shrimp (probably a half pound before peeled) for $20. I don't mind spending $20 for a large seafood platter but when I do I expect to get my moneys worth.

Looking for good southern meal today and I found it! I had the platter with popcorn shrimp, butterfly shrimp, catfish, red beans and rice with a salad!It was really satisfying and delicious! Found my secret spot!

Ordered crab corn soup. The most nasty soup I've ever tasted. I'm still trying to get the taste out my mouth. And it had more mushrooms than anything.

Good food if they would answer the phone. They answer and then hang up! So I drive over to place an order -- and three people walked by me with no greeting. Definitely understaffed. And this will all before 12 noon.

Best down home cooking lunch specials and burgers in town. If you happen in on a white beans and catfish day, don't pass it up. It's better than Momma's. Actually everything I've had there is delicious. The fajita salad with chicken is awesome. The chicken is seasoned perfectly, tender and moist. But the grilled onions and peppers and dressing really make it special. The portions are large and a very good value. I've unfortunately, never had room for dessert.The staff are friendly and attentive. It's always a pleasant dining experience.
