Griffin Fishing Charters and Lodge

My 15 year old daughter and I had a great time with Randy on our ~6 hour fishing charter in early June 2021. Randy, our guide and captain, was extremely knowledgeable about the waters, the fish, and the wildlife, and helped us maximize our fishing experience. We are novices (had never used a non-automatic reel before, and had no experience with popping bobbers) and Randy got us up to speed quickly. He was also very nice, and fun to hang out with. Highly recommended!

Great experience from start to finish! Breakfast, snacks etc... answers all questions, fished a bunch of spots, great etoufee when you we got back!! With fun chats and laughs! Very much recommended!!!!

We had a fabulous time fishing this morning! It was fun and we are going home with a cooler full of fish!! The accommodations were clean and very nice. All 3 meals were great! We highly recommend this adventure and we will be back!

This place is super!Some of the best fishing in the world - great food and guides.Perfect for new fishermen and nonfisherman.Also very close to NOLA - make it back to the city for a night out

Great morning out fishing with Colby, the new owner. Nice guy and very knowledgeable of the area and the fish...we had caught our limit by 7:30! When we got back in, our fish were cleaned and we were served delicious jambalaya plus we got to check out the newly remodeled rooms (we stayed elsewhere). This would be a great destination for a guys trip, families, fishing couples, you name it.

So so fun!! I've been on a number of guided fishing tours and this was *by far* the best experience of them all. The guys over at Griffin are knowledgeable, friendly, & hospitable. You can genuinely tell they love why they do, and they treat you like family while you're there. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the lodging with them this trip, but that's something we will consider next time... because there will definitely be a "next time." Colby welcomed us when we arrived, and Casey was our guide. Both guys were stellar. Casey took us to 2 different locations and we caught our limit early on! I cannot say enough good things about this operation. We were only planning on fishing 1 day, but were hoping the weather cooperates tomorrow, so we can go back again in the morning. Had the pleasure of spending a few days fishing in May with Colby and his staff. To say the least they were all very professional and accommodating. We had eight total with us and absolutely no complaints. Fishing was great and the lunch and dinners prepared for us were delicious. We definitely can't wait to go back again next spring.

This was probably my favorite charter I have done with my sons so far. Our guide Dominick got us hooked on Redfish right away! Breakfast, lunch, and fish cleaning was included in the price. Griffin's lodge and boat ramp was so so clean. Thank you for a great trip! Highly recommend this fishing charter if your in New Orleans.

Great trip with Captain Joel!!! Worked hard to get us a mess of trout. We are local so we will definitely go again!
