Gretna Maifest

This was a pretty neat little fest. This was an arts and crafts/farmers market/German festival put on by the Gretna Farmer's Market and the German American Cultural Museum. There were tons of booths of people selling homemade arts and crafts, food, plants, paintings and things of that nature. There were also people walking dogs that could be adopted. Right by the German American Cultural Museum they had a whole setup of German food, beer, dancing and even a band. Fortunately, on this particular day the weather was nice and there were a lot of people out there.While I wouldn't spend the whole day doing something like this, it's worth checking out if you are in the market for some hand maid items or fresh fruit and vegetables.
