Watching Shakespeare in the old brake tag station, who would have thought. This space was renovated for event use last year and this was my first time here... Well first time since it offered a city service. The NOLA Project is hosting their plays in this space and we were here to see their production of the Tempest last night. The staging was sparce but the backdrop of the Greenway walking path was lovely. The space is wide open but fully fenced which keeps out birds but not necessarily all the bugs. There are restrooms with handicapped access and changing tables. I feel like it would be a great space for a rave... if those were still a thing. For the event last night they had set up a couple of tables with beverages and snacks. Parking is where the Thursday afternoon farmer's market normally is, or across from the Parkway Bakery parking lot.
