Great American Cookies

I ordered a cake for a birthday and they did an amazing job in every aspect. Meegan took my order and was so sweet and extremely helpful. Scott decorated the cake and did an incredible job. We lost our dog not that long ago, and I had them draw a picture of her on the cake. I didn't have high expectations on the dog, but they made it look just like her. It was so much better than I expected, and my husband and everyone else loved it. I included the reference photo I sent to show how far of a job they did.

Great American Cookies has the best cookies I've ever tasted. The service is so amicable when being greeted. I can't help getting more than one cookie from there!

Yummy!! I haven't been to one of these since I was a teenager. I won't tell ya how many decades ago that was. I got my hubby a few special pecan cookies and treated myself to a holiday cookie as well. How did I wait so long to return? Cookie was so soft and full of flavors. Must try this place out if you haven't already. Very friendly staff here at Juban Crossing location.

Perfect EVERY time! I love these cakes and the people at this location will make it look great! My kids request Minnie/Mickey for their birthdays. Including my most recent order for a Hurricane Party at work since we had to sleep at the hospital to care for patients!I almost never order very far in advance and it's only been an issue a few times when they were overwhelmed with orders and couldn't take any more.., but that's on me for ordering last minute!

Super grateful for the wonderful customer service at this location. I inadvertently ordered my sons graduation party cake for the wrong date. Just as I started to panic the man behind the counter who I can only assume was a manger stepped in and agreed to squeeze in our cake to be ready first thing the next day. I've made several mistakes like this since my mom passed away recently so I was so appreciative that they handled it so graciously!

From customer service to cold treats Great American Cookie & Marble Slab is the place for your late night cravings! Located in Denham Spring's Juban Outdoor Mall this is the perfect way to begin or end your shopping day. Marble Slab offers a wide selection of Creamy Ice Creams and even larger selection of toppings to mix in! I went to Great American Cookie & Marble Slab on a late night sugar craving and was I happy with my choice! Though we showed up just 10 minutes before closing the customer services was excellent helping us through every unhealthy decision we were there to make. After many taste test the decision was made Strawberry Shortcake with Birthday Cake Ice Cream for the win! We then proceeded to sit down with the remainder of the customers and enjoyed our treat.

So every time I go to this GAC, I always rate it 5 star afterwards on my app when I get a notification and I've always been treated well here. I like my cookie cake without icing and normally some of the kids who work in there will be super accommodating and go cut me some pieces, since all the pieces out are always iced. Well tonight I go in, and they did not have any cookie cake pieces out. So I asked if they could cut me some pieces and they wouldn't be iced so it was perfect. She told me "they had no cookie cake." But I was literally staring at a stand right next to her that had 15 cookie cakes on it and 3 more cookie cakes on the table area. So I asked why she couldn't cut me pieces and she said because they couldn't "sell them hot." So out of the 20 cookie cakes you had, every single one was hot and couldn't be cut from? Really let me down tonight.

I have mixed feelings about this location. On one hand, I really, really like "new" so that automatically gives it points. I like the fact that it is a combo of both Great American Cookies and Marble Slab...it really appeals to my little inner greedy child who loves all things sweet. Where it's loosing me is in the customer service department and overall presentation. I've been here a few times and each time I leave more frustrated than happy. It's not that the service is bad, it's just that it's not good. The first time I ordered the buy 5 get one free in cookies. I felt like it was a struggle just trying to convey my very simple order across the glass. The second time I went to order a cookie cake. I detailed everything I wanted to her, step by step. Unfortunately I wasn't the one to pick of the cake so I didn't see it until the actual party. It was absolutely not what I requested. Like the time I took to describe everything I wanted was just for naught. Finally, I tried this location one more time but this time we ordered from the Marble Slab side. The customer service was friendly enough. Placed the order for a chocolate shake made with 1 part sweet cream ice cream, and 2 parts chocolate ice cream. The young lady went to start it by putting quite a bit of milk in the blender. Then, she measured and weighed the ice cream. I guess it must have been a little over bc she actually took a heaping scoop of ice cream out and threw it away! Yes, in the trash. I couldn't believe my eyes. Who would waste such deliciousness and why not just ask us if we would prefer a thicker shake? When asked about it she said everything is measured although I'm willing to bet the milk portion was not measured. Sure enough, when it was done it wasn't any kind of thick so she had to add more ice cream to it any way. My goodness, I'm still taken aback. Overall, I can't say that I won't be back here. If you know me and my love for all things chocolate then you know it's hard for me to resist these temptations...I guess I just won't be a happy person on the way out, lol.

Downloaded the marble slab app to receive $5 off my purchase. I ordered the chocolate birthday cake and added cookie dough, brownie, and Oreos. Loved that I could add any topping that I wanted. My server was very helpful. He allowed me to sample some flavors before I ordered. Thought it was funny when he sampled one flavor with me because he said that he'd never even tried it before. Very clean place and even cooler that Great American Cookie is located inside as well. So it's a dessert one stop shop haven.

Their service was amazing and they made my daughter's vision for her dad's birthday come true.
