This placed used to be average years ago, but now it's BELOW average. Ordered delivery and they put the ramen noodles in the soup rather than separating the noodle from the soup (what time of Asian restaurant does that??), so that by the time it got to us, there was no soup at all because the nooes had absorbed everything and become so soggy that it was inedible. The kimchi jigae, priced at $19 should have been more like $5. Two pieces of tofu, three-four pieces of overcooked meat, and bland oversalted broth. I'm never coming back here. They price their food at California prices, but I wouldn't even feed my dog food from here. Should have listened to the recent reviews.

Coming from Seattle it's hard to find Korean food or good Korean food at all in the south. I got the kimchi soup and it was a little underwhelming. Only about four or so tofu pieces and the meat was very scant. The flavor was good, but wish the quality and quantity of the meat and tofu was more. Friendly service. If I were to come back, I'll try something else.

Not the best. We had to go here due to an issue at my preferred Korean restaurant. BanChan was severely limited. Only got 3 cucumbers and like 2 pieces of kimchi. Personally didn't like the flavor of either. The bean sprouts were tasty though. Rice cakes were tasty and spicy and the sauce was nice. Maybe could've had more fish cakes in it but overall was tasty. However I don't like their use of raw cabbage in it. It was not kimchi. Just raw shredded cabbage. Bulgogi tasted EXACTLY like yoshinoya beef. Yoshinoya is a chain of Japanese fast food bowls and is good, but not what I wanted in bulgogi. It tasted EXACLTY like it. No differences. Additionally the restaraunt was dirty and could use a face lift. The food took forever to arrive as well. It was expensive too. Overall not a good idea to come here

Food was absolutely amazing!! Every meat is incredulously juicy and flavorful. The kimbap was kimbapping for real!! I could tell they put love in every dish serving. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and felt like home. I wanted to study there, but it's always so busy ;) Service was amazing and fast. 11/10 would recommend to everyone looking for a cozy, delicious meal with delightful service.

Decent Korean food if you're craving a few SK classics but not the best option in the game. This place is extremely understaffed, resulting in longer than normal wait times and mediocre service. Our favorites were the kimchi fries, tteokbokki, and "maeun ddak". I especially loved the kimbap and spicy rice cakes as they reminded me of my time as an expat in Korea. I highly recommend this place for takeout if you're craving an authentic Korean meal that isn't too fancy.

It's more modern inside. They do charge 3.4%, which you find out after your card is run through. They should let you know this ahead of your card being charged in my opinion. The Korean drama Beauty Inside is playing on the TV.Ordered kimbap and added grilled kimchi, tteokbokki, spicy chicken, soondubu and added grilled kimchi and rice cakes too and two barley teas. $60.96The bachans are pickled radish, bean sprouts and kimchi. They are out of kimchi fries today. The pickled radish is good, fresh and crunchy. The bean sprouts not bad either. The kimchi is very tart and bitter and not my jam, it's well past the due date for me. K drama scenes on the one wall. The one in the middle is from Hwang Jini. I knew I had seen it before. I don't know any of the others at all. The Kimbap tastes okay, but the rice is a bit mushy today. The tteokbokki is flavorful, the rice cake is nice and chewy. The sauce is good. The spicy chicken is good, saucy and lots of flavor. The soondubu is nice spicy, tastes a bit different from what I am used to, but still good. Not a huge fan of the carrots in this version, but everything else is as expected. There was a chunk of the Napa end in my stew. The rice cake and the grilled kimchi is a must add to this stew. Service is good, food was out quick.

After coming several times during business hours only to find them closed, they were open on my most recent visit! Hallelujah!! You now order at the counter and they bring you the food. My sister and I ordered 2 kimbaps and 1 LA galbi. Pictured is the LA galbi. It was extremely thin and about 1/3 of the portion size they used to serve. This used to be my go to Korean restaurant but with the price increasing to $24 from $18 AND cutting the portion size so drastically, I will not be back. Also, the woman there visibly treated the Asian customers poorly in comparison to the happy, chipper customer service she provided to the older Caucasian customers.Steer clear unless you want to wait a long time, get shitty service, and be overcharged.

This used to be my go to. They serve such little portions in their to go orders with such a high price. Yet when you eat there they give u a slightly bigger portion but its the SAME price as the to go? Don't get that. The food is great don't get me wrong. I always get the spicy pork bulgogi and lately the meat doesn't taste as flavorful as it used to. I don't like eating here bc the cashier is just not friendly at all and I prefer not to be around her. I think she's the owner not too sure. And not to mention they're always closed...even when their sign says open at 12, they aren't honestly this place just needs to get better. I don't think I'll ever be back given that they're never open

The last time I've been to Gogi at their new location, the food was great despite the portion size (meat portions were smaller). However, lately as I've been having the craving for their food, I'd call to place a to-go order but am told that they are out of a lot of their menu items. Today I called and asked if they had a full menu and was told they only have appetizers I truly hope that this does not become a regular thing as I do enjoy their food, but it's a huge disappointment that they're always out of their main dishes.
