We were in the area for a movie and wanted to get dinner beforehand. Sushi is always a good idea, right? There's not much in the way for those of us who are plant based at Geisha, but the great thing is that in sushi places, they can always make some kind of vegetable roll. There is one on the menu and it contains avocado, cucumber, asparagus, carrot and oshinko, so I ordered that as well as my standard avo/cuc roll. Service is really nice here, as well as accommodating. When it appeared as if my rolls had that detestable roe clinging to the rice, the waitress told me it was carrot (she said she was a vegetarian, too). I think she thought I was concerned about the carrot in the veggie roll because there was a little of that roe after all and I picked it off. I was most disappointed in the lack of sesame seeds as well as the fact that the rolls weren't tightly rolled so they came apart easily when dipping into soy sauce. The veggies were fresh and tasty, so not really a big deal.Ambiance is not ideal for me, as it reminded me of eating in a pretty cafeteria (there's a beautiful mural across one wall). The room is large and open, brightly lit and loud with families. Perhaps later it is a little quieter as we ate around 6pm so it makes sense that there were tons of little kids and toddlers in the room. One weird thing I noticed on the menu is that they only serve shrimp from frozen. In an area known for its fresh shrimp? I don't eat it, my husband does, but I think it's a red flag.An "OK" experience should come across as such and not be looked at negatively. Would I come here again? It personally was not for me, as a child-free plant based individual but for families, I think Geisha is a solid choice. Everyone seemed pretty happy and there wasn't a free table when we left at 6:45.

Arrive hungry, leave satisfied Geisha has some of the freshest sushi around! Service was incredibly prompt- made sure our drinks were never empty and food arriving quickly to the table. We mostly enjoy sitting at the bar but we had a slightly larger party and sat at a table. The only downside is it is cramped so the tables are close to others but for the most part, conversations were flowing and their food was delicious!!

I stopped in on a late Monday evening because I was reminded via email I had a Best of 225 eats offer that would be expiring soon. I started with a water and Ginger Beer to drink and shrimp Gyoza dumpling pan fried, yellowtail yuzu and clear soup. The dumplings were great and the sauce that accompanied them was perfect. The yellowtail was my favorite of the evening! It was just what I had been craving when it comes to raw fish. The clear soup was very dark brown, and tasted like warm soy sauce. Josie happily understood my sentiments on it and swapped it out for Miso soup. The miso was perfect! Finally, I wrapped up the evening with the Baked Salmon. It was only two other tables with groups of 2 and 3 in the restaurant along with me. The bar area seemed to have some lovely fun patrons that were engaging in fun conversations that occasionally spilled over into the dining room. I wanted one last ginger beer before heading out but they were out. I hadn't been to this location in years but was glad to be back! Josie was an excellent server.

Just visited this restaurant and I'm rating it a solid 4/5. The clear soup had an unexpected twist, maybe a hint of teriyaki, which was a unique. The Marilyn MoRoll was a hit. A special shoutout to our server Haley, she was fantastic, especially considering we had four young boys in tow. Her patience and kindness was great.

Went back to Geisha on a Friday night this time and we were sat right away - I love that about this place. We ordered the shrimp dumplings again and they were delicious. He had the sunset roll and hot sake and enjoyed both. The tuna was super fresh! I had the Marilyn Monroll again and it's my GO TO. Try it with some spicy mayo on the side. Still my favorite sushi in BR.

Their set up was surprisingly very cute for being in a strip mall building. I sat up at the bar and the bartender was very friendly. Kinda smaller so the drinks were limited. Even with how busy it was I still felt attended to. Their fried calamari was great with both the dijon and the spicy mayo (couldn't decide which I preferred). I got the East Coast Roll and the Samurai Roll. Was pleasantly surprised about how good the lobster was in the East Coast Roll.

I ordered a sushi plate without rice and asked for make sure that nothing was spicy.Well it comes a fresh plate with so small size and quantity that I needed to order a second one and guess what? It cames with a very spicy souce!!!!My recomendation is when do not have rice and the size is ridiculously small,do more units for compensation and the waitress should pay more attention to restrictions of the customer asks.It was my Birthday,I would like to be a special lunch celebration.
