This restaurant was an eight minute walk from Caesars, Harris Tower and it was delicious!! The fish was very fresh and had good flavor and the spicy tuna roll wasn't that spicy so I didn't need a beer. Lol. My family and I enjoyed this restaurant so much that we actually came back a week later and had dinner here again. I forgot to take a picture of their hibachi plate which was huge for $20!! It was literally enough to share with two people so such a great deal! My family also loved their stirfry rice!! I truly love their crouching tiger Roll and I got that both nights I was there. The service was rather quick, and I really enjoyed the mural and the back wall and their darker atmosphere. Perfect for a date night or just hang out with friends. They also had a number of different types of cocktails and drinks along the bar.

I wanted this to be better. First off let me say my server was amazing and attentive. So there was no issue there. I had miso soup, salmon skin salad and the ceviche. The just wasn't really that flavorful. I am a salmon skin junkie. Love it! This salmon skin was insanely to cooked to the point it was hard . Mixed with loose greens and just a little bit of soy glaze. The ceviche too just kinda blah. No brightness to it. Zero acidity that you want in ceviche. Sadly just not that great. Simply ok.

I done here probably 2 times a month as it's walking distance from my job. It's such a delightful spot with all the charming Japanese vibes! Everything was on point, and the service is great !

Our sever Isa was very pleasant and attentive. She also talked with my wife and I somethings we had in common. She was open and also gave us a little history about her culture thank you . So, the food was fresh. But the only thing we didn't like was that on the menu it states crableg meat for one of the sushi rolls we got but it wasn't the real deal. We had to send it back and the manager was nice about it and took it off our bill. This place had plenty of seats and it's nice and clean inside. I wish I would've tried the lychee cocktail. If I'm ever in New Orleans again I will definitely stop by again.

Small little sushi bistro tucked in a corner just south of the French Quarter boundary. We came in as a party of 2 on a Wednesday evening without having to wait as a quick break from all the other delicious southern cuisine we'd been having the last several days.We got the fried rice, spicy miso soup with pork, spicy salmon roll, and a bbq eel roll.Disclaimer - we're Asian, we come from a healthy Asian community in the northeast part of the US so our palette might be a little biased. All the food was incredibly bland. The fried rice was well cooked, but needed some more salt. Considering we're in NOLA, perhaps experimenting with some additional Cajun flavors? The miso was either some instant mix or just salts labeled as 'miso' because there didn't seem to be any actual miso in it - miso should settle and if you don't stir, you should be able to actually see the sediment at the bottom of your bowl - the lack of this quality made me question their definition of miso. The taste itself was like an over diluted Shin Ramen flavor (probably was). The noodles were not that fresh, slightly overcooked, and in my recommendation they should switch from flour-based noodles to an egg-based one.The sushi could have been better - the sushi chef simply needs more experience. The taste was ok, the construction was sub-par. The spicy salmon could use a little more kick and the ends of the bbq eel shouldn't be neglected.Service was prompt but there was a bit of miscommunication on our orders our sushi came about 15-20 mins after our entrees which made the timing feel a little awkward.tldr; bland Asian food. Would not recommend

A rare treat and find. Service was spot on during my lunch my lunch visit to this quiet little spot. The tuna was well seasoned and fresh. I did the most Mardi Gras tourist thing I could do and ordered the king cake roll- tuna, shrimp tempura, and cream cheese with eel sauce.Lovely experience!

This is a great low key spot just outside of the main bustle of the French quarter. If you like ramen, I recommend trying theirs it's very nicely done.

My family and I came here three times during our trip due to how close it was to our hotel and the fact that it was open during a major holiday. In terms of reliability and consistency, Geisha Sushi Bistro definitely did really well. Their menu is pretty diverse, but they excelled in pretty much every part of their menu from the hot dishes to the raw ones as well. The service was pretty good. We had three different servers every time and they were pretty friendly and polite every single time. The food came out at varying speeds each time, but we weren't waiting for too long for any one visit. There was a time they seemed to forget one of the handrolls we ordered, but they were pretty quick about remedying that. One server was even kind enough to tell us that the soy sauce on the table wasn't low-sodium and offered to get us a different bottle. We didn't ask, but the fact that it was unprompted was super nice. The food quality was pretty decent. The fish was a little pricier than I would expect for the quality we got, but it was tasty and each roll was well-made nonetheless. Their calamari is super unique in shape I think as I've never had it in long, thick strands like how they serve. The hamachi appetizer honestly wasn't worth the wait in my opinion, but everything else (udon, sushi entrees, rice plates) were all very delicious and large in portion. Overall, I'd recommend this as a spot if you're craving decent sushi or overall Japanese food and would like attentive, kind service as well. The price was a little high, but given it seems to be the only sushi place in the immediate proximity, it was a great place to frequent and try several times throughout our trip!

Nice and close to where we are staying. We ordered two miso soups, two green salads, puff daddy, crispy calamari, 3 cali hand rolls with added cream cheese and scallions inside. They charged $1 to add the cream cheese and $1 for about 10 slices of scallions a hand roll. Nickel and dimed me for every possible thing, it seems. 82.37. The green ginger salad was so-so, it comes with iceberg lettuce and ginger dressing. The miso soup was rather watered down and didn't have enough miso paste in the soup broth. The crispy calamari (comes with masago) was okay, as was the puff daddy, neither were for me. The hand rolls were good, first two came with masago. Had to ask for the 3rd one without masago, scraped it off my 2nd one, not a fan of the texture at all. A guy came with with his dog and most of the staff were petting the dog, even the sushi chef. I was glad we had all of our food already.
