For several decades, I've come here for one thing --- The Frozen GrasshopperFamous for their Frozen Ice Cream Daiquiris, The Gazebo's Grasshopper is made for mint chocolate chip ice cream lovers, using creme de menthe and chocolate syrup. Delivers a nice refreshing punch to any part of your day. (They also make an amazing Mocha Almond Freeze)No matter who is tending bar, they are always friendly, professional, and efficient, making sure to tap every bit of what's left in the blender into your cup!The Gazebo is an unmistakable landmark, with plenty of outdoor seating, live music, a full menu and in close proximity to the French Market, Cafe' du Monde, and Central Grocery (home of the original Muffaletta).

This place is horrible!!Food has no flavor. Service is slow!Charged gratuity for six people when only 5 people ordered. No vegan options. Would never eat there again!!!Band plays too loud to have conversation. I do not recommend this place. Definitely just a tourist attraction.

After a while of walking around the French Market on a nice weekend morning, Chas and myself got a bit thirsty. The Gazebo at the French Market offered a stand for a fairly quick drink rather than having to go into a restaurant and order off a menu and wait. Chas was feeling a bloody Mary and I got myself a Banana Split frozen daiquiri. I tried Chas' Bloody Mary and it had good flavor and a nice little pop of spice. Nothing overbearing, just letting you know it was there. No frills on this one, not like other spots with fried shrimp and stuff hanging off them haha, but a tasty drink. My drink however, was far far better. I would drink this thing everyday for the rest of my life. I'm not sure how much alcohol was actually in it, but the flavor was on point. Definitely Didn't Suck!

I stopped here for a drink and to get out of the heat on a Sunday afternoon. They had a live band playing that had the crowd singing and clapping. The bar service was mediocre. The cashier was not very pleasant, and my drink was weak. I gave them three stars because of the location and band. I also observed a bustling wait staff that checked in on me a couple of times. I declined service as I did not want another weak drink. At least you will be entertained, enjoy.

I have passed this establishment many times during previous trips to New Orleans! My friend wanted to rest as we had been walking around for about 5,000 steps in the area!We stopped here because the band was playing and we needed a refreshing drink! My friend got the Rum Runner and she enjoyed and I shared the drink with/her! The service was adequate to be a busy outdoor cafe!

This was our first meal on our trip after landing in New Orleans and it definitely hit the spot! We grabbed some gumbo fries and it was so flavorful. The gumbo was very well seasoned, the chicken wasn't dry and each ingredient seemed to hold its own flavor. Yum.The live music was a bit loud but definitely added to the ambiance. It was a little confusing at first, we weren't sure if there was a specific spot we were supposed to go to to get seated. It seemed like the servers kind of just swam around the crowd of people asking if they wanted a seat. If you have cash, great, if not there's a small fee!

Great daiquiris, blended to perfection. Walk up to the window, place your drink order and head out with a delicious daiquiri. I tried the orange creamsicle is was so good, reminded me of a push up pop, loaded! Service was great! There's seating right outside, you can be seated, and enjoy some delicious food from the cafe menu or head out for a stroll and sip in the French Market!

We previously stopped here before and enjoyed this however times have changed. The southern hospitality is still there, wait staff tries to accommodate. The drink orders not so much, not sure if the assumption is that customers are tipsy to not know any better. Whiskey Amaretto Sour drink is a no go here, first time was so bad couldn't drink it. Second was manageable to consume esp with tourist prices. Now the alligator portions have dwindled in size & were a bit chewy.

A mixed group of adults and teens were here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Wait staff was friendly and efficient and had great recommendations. I enjoyed the live music and strong to-go drinks.

Great location to grab a quick beverage to go, sit down and enjoy the music or grab a bite to eat. Still regretting the fact that I didn't order the chicken wings, they looked delicious! Staff was friendly and helpful with menu decisions. The music was fantastic!
