Gambino's Bakery

Decided to visit a long time favorite. Growing up my parents would purchase desserts from Gambino's, now as an adult I do the same. Came by to get a few desserts which included cake and cake slices. The choices were very good. The service was quick and easy. The atmosphere was pleasant and warm. Reminded me of how it used to be when I was a child. You can place and order for certain desserts and come pick up at a later time, but if you would like to just have a quick sweet treat, there is a variety of items located in the showcase where you could purchase for minimum prices.

Gambino's has been part of my history for 50 years. I live away and was really excited to visit the bakery. I remember the amazing aromas when I walked in. It is so sad to see an iconic bakery whose ambience has changed. No going home. The people were wonderful- friendly and so accommodating. The king cakes were luscious with so many different new varieties - even chocolate cream cheese and praline. Yum! Still has the racks of cookies, individual little pies, and doberge cakes. My only disappointment was that the wonderful bread is only available as take and bake frozen loaves. Such is progress.

Can't believe I've never reviewed this place and I've been too many times to count. The ladies behind the counter are always helpful. The cakes are so good! I'm always ordering for different things and they are consistently moist and that buttercream is the best! The caramel doberge squares in the windows call my name and yes they are worth trying! They have been around for a while but a great place for a delicious bakery cake!

Great cakes and desserts, love the. Doberge cakes omg !Today I got a couple Italian muffuletta bread loaves to make homemade muffuletta sandwiches for suffer. The mini pecan pies were also delicious. The employees were knowledgeable and helpful.

I consider Gambino's a No. 1 (A plus) Bakery. Their pastries, cakes, muffins, all other baked goods are always fresh, moist, looks, smells most of all tastes Delicious!! Gambino's provides adequate service. The employees/ staff greet customers for having a warm and pleasant experience. Gambino's is always orderly clean and smells do delicious! I just love going to Gambino's Bakery.

Absolute best king cake in town! We always thought so, but caught a national spot on channel 12 on Sunday afternoon which proved it! 12 tasters from around the country selected Gambinos when they tasted 12 0ther cakes. And the staff is super friendly and helpful! Go get yourself one of the cakes today!!!

This wedding cake exceeded our expectations! It was simply beautiful and perfect for the wedding decorum. We were satisified with the cost of the cake; it fed over 250 guests and there was more to bring home; which was simply delicious; not a piece wasted. The service including the cake-tasting session was outstanding and there were no issues with the delivery. We will definitely order from Gambino's in the future. It is now our bakery of choice.

My family has been Gambino's customers since before I was born. I can still remember how excited I was as a child to get one of their cakes for my birthday. Fast forward 50 years and we still love their cakes. I live in Houston now but whenever I am home, I still drive by Gambino's and pick up a treat for my family. Every time I go in there I ask them to open a location in Houston and they tell me they hear that all the time. Gambino's, you'd make a fortune here!!

Their cakes are the best I've had in a long time. I ordered a cake for a graduation party and it was very delicious. And the people here are very nice as well. Keep up the great work!
