Always delicious! Always great service! Today we stopped in for brunch and dare I say, if that was my last meal then I'd be absolutely fine with that! Hubby just said to me that we need to make this our Sunday thing because how have we been sleeping on brunch at Galvez Seafood!? I forgot one pic - of the Grits & Grillades - and that's because we dove in before I took my phone out LOL! OH my word! What is in that? Amazing! We also shared the French toast as well as the traditional breakfast. Everything was scrumptious!! I also had a Paloma to drink because my imosas make me sleepy and we had errands to run after. That was so good as well! Don't skip on brunch at Galvez! There dinner menu is also great! We love sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartenders. Service is always so friendly! Ok I love going eat places but this one takes the cake for the... WORST restaurant ever that has been placed in the state of Louisiana for many reasons. 1 fist of all the waiters/ waitresses are horrible and slow. I have never had a slower waitress ever in my life how can you be this slow they're not 90 years old. Also the place is just not good it's not a good vibe also just they are more worried about their people at the bar. I will never give this place any good review in my life also I have to be the waiter my self i'm not no rat ratatouille, but I can tell you one thing I'm faster than all these other waitresses and waiters. Ok also what is with the chefs I asked for a fish platter not a frozen platter like there was icicles forming on this fish platter. Also like why and why is this place charging $20 for a platter with like 2 strips of fish like really bro. Go to marlies seafood in French settlement louisana real place for a great price all I gotta say about this place is pure pure pure

Food was OK. Service was OK. Atmosphere was OK. The one appetizer I wanted to get, the crab kickers, were "no longer on the menu" which made me sad as I had heard they were good! The seafood potato was very lackluster compared to other local variations of the dish. My wife's crab cake sandwich was just bread in a crab cake. Both dishes were pleasant, but just OK. Hoping I can try this place out again a see if any particular dish stands out.

My wife and I come here often. I've never had a bad experience! Great local spot with solid food and great service! Live music on Wednesdays create a great atmosphere! Looking forward to trying brunch!

I eat here often but recently visited for Sunday Brunch. It was the best brunch! Beats Frank's and Mason's Grill by a mile.

We Galvez Seafood! on the food, service and atmosphere! No small portions here and you get exactly what your tastebuds desire. These days with the COVID virus everyone acts different. Mask or no mask. They have an outdoor eating or socializing area. We highly recommend this wonderful Louisiana/Cajun seafood

Pretty disgusting that half of the staff are visibly sick. I'm sure they're not at work by choice. Owners should really evaluate their social and ethical responsibilities to their customers and their employees before making decisions such as these.

Well known they close at 9:00 but i been working in restaurants for avery long time but my managers always say if they come in before 9 u take them no matter what. we would he in and out it was just to get something in our system. buy im guessing they dont want money soon as we even got in the door they ran to manager and we heard everything. very disrespectful kids too. never again and we live right there and on 225 trade so thats horrible.

would have loved to had some of the gumbo. I assume it's as good as it used to be but unfortunatel, grub hub was the only delivery offered and after 3 Hours, I cancelled. very unfortunate!
