Gallagher’s Restaurant on Front Street

I'm not a big steak guy but the new york strip was unreal. Best thing I have had to eat in years. Potatoes and fries were divine. I came in underdressed not knowing how nice the place is but the staff were still warm and friendly. Better service than most restaurants. Free bread and butter tasted perfect. The music in the restaurant was pleasant and family friendly. Prices were fair for the quality but be prepared to drop $50 minimum per person.

I always have a good experience here. The food is delicious. The stuffed chicken is so good & I love the creamed spinach. I've just recently tried the oysters & they are good. I just wish the oysters came with French bread. (They do give complementary bread at the table.) The service has always been pleasant in my experience. The drinks are pretty good as well. This is definitely a nice spot to visit & has more of a laid back steakhouse feel.

Had a quick date with the hubby, I enjoyed my redfish it was perfect. The potatoes were okay they wasn't seasoned at all. We did had appetizers and they were good. Our server was okay, I might try them out again.

We went to celebrate my husbands birthday. We visited the other location and had a great experience so we decided to try the one closer to home.The ambiance is great. The restaurant is clean and has a beautiful setup. A romantic vibe for couples.The hostess greeted us with a smile and seated us right away. The server was not very friendly, she didn't smile, she was short with her responses, and she was almost walking away before we could ask a question. I told her we were there celebrating a birthday, and she said, "Okay, what's your side?" Very dry...The guy who gives you drinks, bread, and help in the dining area was extremely friendly and very attentive. He was so good, we left him a tip and he was definitely grateful. We observed the other server and actually thought of swapping outThe food was delicious. There was an error with mybsteak, but they corrected it quickly. I wanted medium, and they gave me medium well. But once corrected, it was delicious and tender. I also had the lobster tail. It was big and juicy. I enjoyed that a lot.We had the fleur-de-lis shrimp, now that was delicious, I could definitely order those to go.My husband had the lamb and quail. He said the quail tasted kinda fresh, but he enjoyed the lamb.We had the creamy spinach and sweet potato cassarole. Nothing to shout out about, just ok.So ny husnad got his ooey gooey with ice cream with a candle. She sat it in front of him, said happy birthday really dry and walked away.I left her a tip bc she worked, but she didn't get what I was willing to give bc she didn't make the experience delightful. Will I be back? Sure, but I'll make sure she's not our server

I really wanted to love this place, but it just wasn't that great. The servers assistant was really friendly, but I got the feeling we were bothering our waitress. She just wasn't that friendly. Started with old fashions and they were really good. Had a wedge salad that was pretty good and a nice size. I ordered the red fish Diane. Not a very thick piece of fish and it was covered with crab meat. It just wasn't that tasty. I kept thinking the crab tasted like tuna out of a can. Husband had the double cut pork chop. It was pretty good. We shared some mashed potatoes and they were ok. The inside is a very nice white table cloth setting and we loved the music playing overhead. With all the good restaurants in the area I highly doubt we will go back. We just weren't impressed.

Gallagher s is a white table establishment. The menu is robust with choices. Unfortunately, the service this evening didn't live up to white tablecloth service. Our waitress, Amelia, was too good to clear a plate. She was full of attitude. They rushed our courses and then didn't clear dirty dishes. 4 stars food 1 star service.

This place is amazing. Don't let the strip mall turn you away. It is a la cart just FYI.I had the Ribeye and it was the best steak i have had out in a long time. My coworker had the crispy redfish. She loved it. Service was great and the atmosphere was really nice. I would totally recommend this place even if you're driving from Nola.

Our Widows Club had their Christmas luncheon there today, 100+ older ladies, having 3 course lunch. We had EXCELLENT service. Our food was hot, everything perfect. Thank you to the manager and the great staff for treating us like queens!

Sat at the bar and Luke was our bartender and waiter. We were just driving through looking for something to eat and Loretta said hey let's try this never even seen the sign before. This may be some of the best food I ate all year. The atmosphere is great and Luke was amazing. We had to sit at the bar because the place accepts reservations. we did not have one so I do recommend the reservation but at the bar was quite enjoyable..

This one is a a favorite for us. Desiree is AMAZING and her service never disappoints. The food is always good. There isn't a bad table at this location! Nice intimate vibe. Do yourself a favor and go get some great food!!
