I've been on no less than 20 tours in New Orleans over the years. I know most of them by heart at this point but I keep taking them because I always have the most amazing time. This tour was anything but amazing. Firstly my tour guide left a few minutes early leaving many people behind. I called the office and she called me a liar and said we must have been late and there were tons of no shows that day and then hung up on me. The obvious reason there were 10 "no shows" was because he left early. We ran to the cemetery to try and catch up and we luckily did and were let it. Our guide Casey was so coked out you could barely understand him he was talking so fast. He started the tour asking if anyone has seen some old 80's movie. Only one person had so he spent 15 minutes spend talking telling everyone the plot of this entire movie. I recorded a few minutes of it because it was this weird drugged our rant the barely had anything to do with the cemetery other than it was filmed there. Next he takes us to Nik Cages tomb and rambles there for a long time at this point the tour is half over. We haven't gotten any history and he's chugged 2 diet cokes. The rest of the tour was FINALLY about the cemetery history but most of it was just calling Marie Laveau a giant con artist. It was really offensive as I had come to pay homage to her. Highly disappointing tour. Would NEVER book with this company again.

As a first timer to NOLA, I was eager to learn about the city and gather interesting historical factoids. Like many tourists would consider doing to achieve such knowledge, I purchased a walking tour. Unfortunately, it was a less than ideal experience all-around.Our group selected the 10:30 a.m. French Quarter and Cemetery Tour and arrived right on time. We were given tour stickers to wear and some background on the historical restaurant in front of us. We walked up St. Louis Street -- learning along the way about NOLA architecture styles. This could have been interesting, except that our guide was completely disengaged from the tour. Maybe he was distracted, or too hot from the January heat, but he looked and sounded like he'd rather be anywhere else than herding a small group of tourists through the busy streets. I lost track of how many times he told us to move to let people by on the sidewalk. We weren't standing in the way, and if someone desperately needed to get by, they could've uttered a simple "excuse me."Once we arrived in the cemetery, there were some notable issues. The guide casually mentioned that it was overrun by tourists, for example, which was interesting since he was speaking to me...aka: a tourist. You could only get into the cemetery with a professional guide, which I'm not used to at all. I love historic places and cemeteries, and whenever I've visited one in the past (lookin' at you, Savannah!) I've had the ability to roam. Here, we needed to stay close by our guide at all times or receive a nice stink eye and chide. I guess they worry about visitors marking XXX on voodoo practitioners' above-ground graves. After the guide mistakenly said Brown v. Board of Education took place in 1955 (it's 1954!) and then used the word "maybe" one too many times, I began to zone out. Another tour was nearby and their guide sounded so engaged and used a tone that conveyed a true excitement about the cemetery. I couldn't help but listen to her. After the cemetery, we passed through Louis Armstrong Park before making our way down to Jackson Square, where the tour finally and thankfully reached its end.Sure, I learned some facts about NOLA that I didn't know before through this tour, but I also learned to research tour guides more before making a purchase in the future.

Informative and entertaining. Paid for the one hour cemetery tour because we were pressed for time. Tour started promptly at 1:30 PM and was done on time. Lots of good historical facts from a knowledgeable guide. No complaints. Great tour if you want to be entertained but can't commit to an hours long tour.

Went on a tour of St. Louis # 1 today. Our guide, Jamie, was awesome! His vast knowledge of the city, the architecture, and the history was way more than I expected. I can't recommend this tour enough, and if possible, I would request this guide.

We went on the 1 hour cemetery tour. Casey the tour guide was very knowledgeable about all the history and did a great job. The only downside to the tour was it felt a little rushed because of the amount if tours taking place at the same time. But would definitely recommend it.

My small group recently went with French Quarter New Orleans Tours for a cemetery and French Quarter walking tour. A friend found them on Groupon and getting a deal seemed ideal. After taking the tour, I can see why we got a discount. Our overall experience was gipped. Our guide was nice and it was really exciting at first to have a local as our guide. At first I was really impressed about how conscientiousness he was about having our group not block the sidewalk. It got really old fast. Especially when it really wouldn't have been an inconvenience for anyone to walk around us. It seemed he was more concerned about them versus us. While it was nice that he covered a lot of architecture, which is totally necessary for a NOLA tour, I would have liked to learn more about the history of the French Quarter and things that happened there. The cemetery portion of the tour was the most disappointing. I felt like we were rushed through and missing things that other groups got to see. We definitely caught a few accuracy errors with things like dates and he said "I think it's like this..." way too many times than a tour guide should say. I think my biggest gripe in general was that he assumed we knew stuff about New Orleans going into the tour. I really didn't know much and would have liked this to be a NOLA 101 tour. There were so many times that he said something, then I tried to register it, then missed something because he moved on. I know there's a lot of history in this city that has to do with national history, but he shouldn't have assumed we all knew that information or remember it from school. We took a stop at the Basin St. Station. It was nice to see the building but I don't think we needed to be there for that long taking a rest. It was nice to see Armstrong Park and Congo Square and then we ended up in Jackson Square. He was rushing in all of these spots so it was just another chance for me to struggle to grasp the info. I definitely took something away from the tour and did learn about NOLA, I just feel I could have learned so much more.

Tamara gave us a wonderfully insightful tour. We walked around together for more then the allotted time as we learned so much about the city, it's history and the future. I would recommend this tour for everyone. If we had more time we would take another tour with her.
