I thought this was a pretty good tour. Awesome stories about the history of many of these old buildings. Too many ghost stories for me though. There are so many of the same tour guides on the street but this one has a Groupon special for two people for $25. If you check in, you get one free. It's the same deal. The lady guide on our tour was very educational. She was nice and very entertaining as well. Some stories freaked me out. There were times she stared at the people I our group that were talking too much and were not really interested but then she got paid, so she should have ignored it. There were some folks in our tour group that were drinking so you will have to expect that, too. It's New Orleans...She did ask for tips at the end of our tour. If you wanna be nice, give her some tip money at the end of the tour as this is her way of making money. Prepare to have some change... ;-)The Calle Real building was the creepiest part of our tour. It was the biggest mansion in that area and it was vacant. Well, many of the homes or buildings were vacant or used as vacation homes or hotels, etc. There were some homes that were turned into a hotel that report death and torture or haunted by ghosts. My husband can see ghosts and I just took a chance to ask if he saw anything in any of the buildings. My biggest mistake!! I didn't think he would tell me as he knows I get freaked out from paranormal or ghosts stories; not sure why I went on this tour? Ek He said he saw a shadow from the second floor on Calle Real and then disappeared! That mansion had so many death inside! Way too freaky for me and glad I do not see these things!! So many of these buildings have a history of death and torture similar to 'American Horror story'. I am glad I didn't stay in any of those hotels with ghosts!!

Do i have to give a star? Don't waste your time. Instead, go to the carriage rides and give your $20 to the girl driving the carriage. This tour was supposed to be a ghost tour and besides the inside stop there wasn't much on the tour about ghosts.Thoroughly disappointed.

My group of 4 did the French Quarter History and Ghost Buster tour with Brent and he was AMAZING. He mentioned that he has been doing this for over 15 and his presentation/knowledge absolutely back that up. We started out a little rocky as we weren't able to find the meet up spot right away and came a few minutes late to the tour (and subsequently missed the first story), but it was absolutely worth it to try and find the group because it was an awesome experience and totally worth it. I do wish it had been a little more scary, but overall it was pretty awesome. I would absolutely do another tour with Brent!

Like many who visit New Orleans, I fell in love fast and hard with this city. There are both too many words and not enough words to say about it, so I'll cut to the chase and just say that I happened upon this tour serendipitously and to this day it was one of my favorite NOLA experiences. I met my tour guide Jeannie while she was preparing to give a tour in the French Quarter and we struck up a long conversation, and she was such a delight to talk with that I decided to take part in her walking tour. Jeannie has a passion for this city, it shows in her smile, her resilient spirit, her incredible brain that seems to soak up and rattle off information with encyclopedic breadth while conveying it all an easy, conversational tone. She's warm and friendly, and I continue to refer friends who visit to her tour company. There are many tours being offered in the area, but Jeannie will really send you away feeling like you have a piece of the city to take home with you :)

On our vacay to NOLA, "the big easy". The ghost tour my wife and I did was one of the best nights we had. No one was more excited than I was on the tour. Even though we did a lot of walking, our tour guide was awesome!! The way she explained the events from the past, which was the reason for some of the restaurants, shops, and beautiful homes being haunted. We plan on making another trip to the big easy and we'll be doing the ghost tour again. We hope our tour guide will still be there when we go back!!

Had a great time touring the French Quarter. Good mix of historical facts as well as fun ghost stories. Thomas was a wonderfully animated, friendly and informative tour guide. Thank you!

Our tour guide made this an amazing experience. He was very animated and you could tell was genuinely interested and in love with the history and culture of New Orleans. The tour itself was a great mixture of creepiness and history. Would highly recommend to other travelers!

The saga of this tour started its life as a Groupon purchase. Being hyper-organizes, I called about two weeks out and tries to make a reservation. "That's too far away," I was told. "Call the week prior."Fast forward one week later. "Oh... next week is too far away. Can you call the day before?" "Ah no... I'll be travelling all day." We finally negotiated to two days before, he claiming this prevents unscheduled people from showing up. I don't see how when I call impacts people who don't bother either way but... whatever. We all see where this is going like a freight train, right? He finally takes my reservation on Sunday, and on Tuesday when we check in I'm not on the list. *Sigh*The rating is for the tour itself, not the madness beforehand. Our tour was only six people, not like some block-long lines I've seen. Our tour guide, Cindy, was super nice, let early folks have a drink in the bar next door while we waited. There was also a mid-tour bar and water break. She was entertaining, answered any questions we had, and have recommendations for post-tour dinners. I learned a lot about the history of NOLA, and new places to visit before we go home.

I've done a handful of tours during my time in New Orleans, and this one has been a highlight of my trip. Adelle, our tour guide, was engaging, informative, and a master of puns; she did a great job of making the tour her own, and I highly recommend her as your guide when getting to know the Big Easy.

NOT IMPRESSED! I usually avoid these kinds of tourist traps but my son has been begging to go on a ghost tour for ages and this one sounded halfway decent. Plus, they offered a Groupon, cha ching. Shoulda sprung for a little more intimate and less chaotic tour. The bad feeling started when I called to make reservation and the guy on the phone was very curt, almost rude.
