Fred's in Tigerland

Keeping in mind this is only my opinion! Fred's in Tigerland is an absolute disgrace to LSU. Why they let it stay open I really don't know unless someone is benefiting from the $20. cover charge they make everyone pay to get in. Their so called managers are RUDE, the grounds are FILTHY, and they could care less about anything except collecting that MONEY. My daughter just graduated so thank goodness I NEVER have to go back. I feel sorry for the people who look at the website and see beautifully dressed people in a clean well groomed area and then get there and realize it's just a shithole taking advantage of teenagers.

my absolute favorite bar in tigerland. i used to be a JLs girl but man i've changed. The atmosphere is amazing! scared to see an ex? don't even worry! it's so easy to hide due to the space. the drinks? amazing! the service? impeccable! the guys working the bar always make sure to get you what you want! and man is the crowd attractive! they aren't wrong Freds really does the f***ing

Fred's is a great place to go if you're 19-21, but the older you get, the more you start to realize there are way better bars in Baton Rouge to go to. On game days this place is so crowded you can barely move. Definitely a safety hazard. Also, my friend found broken shards of GLASS in his drink... Exercise caution if you go here.

The music selection isn't the best, it's the same every week. The drinks are good and they always have great deals such as open bar from 8-10 every Friday with a $10 cover if you have your LSU student ID. They also have $1 drinks no cover on Thursday. Now, remember this is generally a college bar located in a college town it's not upscale so it's not fancy but if you want a good time and good company Fred's is a great place to go. The bartenders are friendly and people go here to have a good time, if you're looking for a fancy bar this isn't it but I wouldn't say it's classless, get a bunch of drunk people in a bar and what do you expect. Fred's is great.

Met this business at Fete Baton Rouge. They offered free entry with a sticker. I should have known better with this bar. Undergrad bar with a lot of underage drinking/drinkers. They not only didn't honor the voucher but didn't even acknowledge they were at Fete Baton Rouge. Nor did they acknowledge the existence of the person I spoke with. My girlfriend and I ended up paying at the door. I do not plan doing business with again nor do I recommend business if you intend to have large groups. Not the cleanest place and the drinks are not usually made to what your order.

This place is my absolute favorite place to go out to. From the bartenders to the doorguys, Fred's is always a friendly & welcoming environment. The bald man who works the back bar by the restrooms is always super friendly too! The two red heads who normally work the front bar (I think they're twins) are always a good time & manage to be the life of the party while still being professional. Then there's the patio area (which they recently had redone with some beautiful stained wood) where there's normally a live band performing on the weekends! I'm convinced now that the F in Fred's stands for family! Love that place

Fred's is the best bar in Tigerland without a doubt. It's a great environment and never fails to be a fun time. Drinks and music are awesome as well!

10/10 Good Bar. Much liquor. Many Good Time. Wow. Cheap drink and Attractive Lady's. ~Fred's~

this is the biggest ice machine I've ever seen (and I've seen A LOT). must be a custom job.

i am an LSU alumni and have been to Fred's before. However, tonight, at or around 10 pm I received THE ABSOLUTE WORST service I have ever seen in my life. An off duty bartender, Kaelyn Kimball, yelled in my face calling me crude names for no reason but seemingly her own enjoyment as she shoved her phone into my face showing other people on FaceTime that I was sitting at the bar. I then stepped outside, wristband on, to make a phone call. I bad advised all employees I would be right back and offered to leave my card so that my tab could be left open. When I tried to go back inside, the "manager", or so he claimed, as he refused to give me his name, said that I was not allowed to enter. I asked him why and he said "Because I said so". Fred's encourages discrimination and its employees are the rudest in the industry in my opinion after refusing to let a paying customer come in for no reason when closing time was over an hour away.
