Franks's Supermarket

The star of king cakes in our house this year! So many flavors to choose from and every one we've had has been delicious! Highly recommend Frank's for all your king cake needs this Mardi Gras!

I heard that this grocery store had take good King Cake so I had to come in. It's a local store and there people were super nice. They have tons of king Cakes plus a gray looking hot bar, etc. I've driven by am so many times and wondered what type of store they were and I'm so glad in stopped in. They had a lot of Louisiana products which makes it a hidden gem

Great store, good products, but extremely expensive. During Mardi Gras, they sell the wedding cake King cake, which is absolutely wonderful but it is the size of a dinner plate, small, and average cost is $20. Their sandwiches are great but again, expensive. It's a little country store, but an expanded version. There are unusual items and local meat products, but again expensive. I read it this establishment three stars because it is not an inclusive grocery store. However, the bakery products are pretty good but expensive. They are about 10-15% more expensive than the Whole Foods market.

Franks was my local grocery growing up. It used to be small and limited. Recently they remodeled adding all sorts of great things. They have a huge beer selection now, new cold foods, and an amazing salad bar. They now offer fountain drinks as well. The prices are higher than chain stores, but the shopping experience is much better. They do offer meat specials as well. Definitely love what they done with it.

Okay.. so I can't really Yelp about the actual Supermarket but...Oh My God...let me YELP about the Wedding Cake King Cake! It was one of the most delicious cakes I have ever tasted!! Of course you have to absolutely LOVE the Almond Taste of a true Original Wedding Cake but if you do, take a ride out to Frank's! It's worth the gas and the time! You will not be disappointed! A small cake is $12.99, I'm not sure if they make these cakes any larger but I would definitely consider buying a larger on but I could not trust myself with a larger cake in my house! It's like Heaven in your mouth!!!

Best king cakes!!!! I especially love the boudin cake!!! The people who work there are very pleasant too!!

We attended the Grand Re-opening Friday afternoon.We had a good time. The free food was good, and free, so my grandson ate too much (and paid for it).Who were to two guys playing music? I dug 'em!!! I even dropped a $20 in their (non-existent) tip jar when they played one of my requests.Always happy to see a local business do well!!!
