IMO, the BEST place to buy anyone a New Orleans gift, heck, any gift. Whether it's for the home decor enthusiast, the chef in the family, the holiday aficionado, or even the birthday girl/boy - this store had you covered. It's like a Fleurty Girl on steroids. The items found here are more "local" and would impress anyone. Rather than buying your typical fleur de lis dish towel as a keep sake, you might find a pot holder that says "Laissez le bon temps rouler". The unique Nola terms like poboy, pralines, beignets, cold drink etc can be found all over the store making it a true New Orleans gift.

My go-to when shopping for gifts in the quarter. Though they boast several locations, they are not identical in terms of goods they carry. Their collections are beautifully shopped with a wide array of tastes, styles and prices. Inventory doesn't move so fast that you feel pressure to quick purchase as well as changing often enough that I'm always finding something new. If you're local present your ID to earn 10% off each purchase.

Cute stuff- especially for the animal or New Orleans lover! So many adorable items in time for the holidays. Will definitely be back for the selection alone. Lots of unique purchases I haven't found anywhere else. Two HUGE stars off for their service. Borderline rude when I put my arm full of stuff on the counter. Received a mean look and a huff before she pushed my stuff aside. It was touching her accounting books. I was the only person in the store. She also gave me the world's smallest bag for all my purchases. Everything was folded on top of each other in a tiny gift bag. Luckily it was first thing in the morning, so I just dropped the heavy bag back in my car parked close by before it could break. But I doubt many others would be quite so forgiving. Or be so lucky with a parking spot.

The best place to shop in NOLA. We visit the city a few times per year and Forever New Orleans is always on our list of places to visit and to take friends to. Such cool stuff.

I absolutely adored this store. It is not a typical Bourbon or Decatur Street tourist trap. My group and I spent about 30 minutes shopping inside. There were tons of cute kitschy stuff. I walked away with a tank that professes "all I want to do is drink wine and pet my dog," which could not be more true. Everything had fun phrases on it, socks, shirts, tea towels, even oven mitts! Also in this store we found beautiful jewelry and other home goods. Some that were NOLA themed and could serve as a souvenir, and others that I just wanted because they were pretty and useful.

While shopping in this store, I overheard an employee ranting on the phone. She was angry at some of the recent political events that had just taken place. In her incoherent speech she referenced President Trump, and Justice Kavanaugh, and said "hopefully they'll all be dead soon". That is a direct quote. Regardless of political beliefs, this is not something that should be discussed in public, at a place of business. She was speaking loud enough for me to hear her from about 15 feet away. She had no regard for who may hear her, or how disrespectful she was being. If she was so mentally disturbed that she can't handle her emotions in public, then maybe she should find a different place of employment. I frequently visit New Orleans to visit family, and I have purchased things from this store many times, but I have spent my last dime in this store. Any store that hires this type of person, or accepts their behavior does not deserve my money. My family was with me during this employees tantrum, and I can attest that they feel the same way. There are plenty of places to shop in New Orleans without having to deal with immature behavior.
