This truck is in regular rotation downtown at the medical centers and I never even looked at the menu because Korean food is known to be super meaty. But what did I find? Tofu katsu (see my pic) and for $8 I got 3 nice slices of deep fried tofu (don't @ me and my love for the fried) + rice + 2 veggie dumplings + salad + small amount of kimchee. Delicious.Definitely going to consider them again in the future. Find out where they'll be following their FB, but they are usually at LSUHSC or Tulane Med Wednesdays and Tuesdays.

My friends and I drove to find this truck one day for lunch. I heard about this food truck from a friend and I would have never guessed that this was a Korean Food Truck from just hearing the name. I had to find their schedule on their Facebook page in order to know where exactly they'd be for lunch. Korean is one of my favorite cuisines, so I was stoked to hear that they had a Korean Food Truck in New Orleans! I ordered the Crispy Pork Dumplings and the #1 Bulkoki from the "Korean Famous DupBap" section on their menu. It came with marinated sliced angus beef, rice, vegetables, two pork dumplings, kimchi, and Korean sauce. When the food came out, I was devouring my whole to go box. The Bulkoki was only 8 dollars and it was enough to fill me up. I didn't even need the extra pork dumplings, but it was nice to share with my friends. Overall, this is a pretty good food truck to go to that will definitely fill you up for cheap. If I'm walking and happen to see this food truck, then you already know where I'm headed!

This is the BEST food truck in the city and one of the best places to get Korean food! Everytime I order from them the food comes out hot and perfect. The portions are a perfect size, you get a small salad and gyoza with your food. The owners are very friendly. If I had to say something negative it is that they are hard to find them. They need a store front for sure. If you are looking for fast delicious Korean food then look no further!

To anyone who is scared to go check Korean food at restaurant, you shall start your journey right here. It is great for testing your appetite to see if you like Korean food or not. It is a food truck so do not expect restaurant service but the food here is amazing and if not, I prefer Foodies over Little Korea... price is under $10 so if you are around the truck, it is great for lunch. Their facebook site should tell you their location rotation schedule. Service from the owners are very kind and I just love this cute Korean food truck. Highly recommended!

Yummy! Have tried all their dishes except for the katsu and it's all very tasty. Love their sauces and how they pair all the flavors. My favorite are their beef dishes as well their unique take on a po boy. They also have Korean only soft drinks. Highly recommend the grape. Employees are nice and friendly. Regardless of the line, they patiently answer all your questions. One star off because their portions are small. I know Korean food in New Orleans is pricy. Foodie Destination is continuing that tradition.

This is one of the favorite food trucks according to me and my coworkers at Tulane Medical Center. They're only at the hospital on Tuesdays which makes us sad. I love the tofu. You get such a huge portion that I usually end up taking half of it home. My one coworker used to get the spicy pork almost every Tuesday before she left to go to a different hospital. She was obsessed. The service is really great too. They're always smiling on the truck. You don't have to wait too long for your meal either. The sauces are amazing that they use. I'm not a huge kimchi fan, but the coworkers love it (and love that they get to eat mine as well). Definitely follow them on social media to see where they are at and go check them out!

I'm a huge fan of asian food, but had never tried Korean. After hearing a lot of great things about this place I finally had the opportunity to try this amazing little food truck one afternoon for lunch. I'm not sure where their regular spot is/or if they have a regular spot, but I've seen them at both Tulane and LSU's medical schools on various occasions. I looked over the menu and although several options seemed tempting, I decided to order the #1 (Bulkoki) which comes marinated sliced Angus beef over rice, a side salad with a spicy mayo dressing, kimchi and crispy pork dumplings. The folks working here are very kind and helpful, and the service is super quick. The steak is marinated and seasoned well. I was concerned because I know that sliced beef can easily be overcooked and become dry but that wasn't an issue here, the steak was nice and juicy! I love that they put the steak over white rice to add a bit of flavor to the rice. The spicy mayo on the salad is seriously my new favorite dressing- they need to bottle this stuff up and sell it, because I'm addicted! I've asked for extra dressing on my last few visits because I like to mix some of it into my rice/steak for an extra kick. Then there's the crispy dumplings, ohhh goodness! They are absolutely delicious. They're perfectly crisp on the outside and filled with a combination of finely chopped pork and veggies. Teriyaki sauce is drizzled on top which complements the flavor and texture of the dumplings amazingly well. They offer a variety of other dishes including pork ribs, pork tenderloin, white meat and dark meat chicken, as well as vegetarian options (#6-tofu, and vegetable dumplings) which is great! I can't wait to try more from their menu, but it's going to be hard to not get the sliced Angus beef. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially in relation to the portion of the lunch plates. The portions here are plentiful, and the food is delicious! Stop by and see for yourself, and you'll be happy you did.

Four stars for what you get for the price of a cheap less than $10 lunch. The people who own the truck were really nice. I'd definitely prefer to have more kimchi though! it was literally only one bite with my bulgogi dish! The meat was marinated well. It was tasty if you have a korean bbq craving - since korean food is few and far between in NOLA.
