Fleurty Girl

I didn't have much going on today, so i hopped in the car and took a little road trip over to Metairie for a visit to Fleurty Girl. I needed to get a birthday gift for a friend, and I wanted to treat myself to some updated fun t-shirts and houseware items. First things first - CHECK IN. FG is one of the stores that offer a check-in perk - $2 off. Thank you, Fleurty Girl!Staff is always friendly and helpful, even when there are a lot of people in the store. Today's visit was no different. They have all sorts of shirts with cute sayings for the Saints, LSU, Mardi Gras, NOLA specific, and Louisiana specific. I grabbed a few fun MG shirts, some leggings, and some other random selections. I also picked up some headbands and a cute kitchen towel. So many cute items, and I wish i could have bought more. When you need a cute gift, definitely head on over to Fleurty Girl. Be ready to spend a little for some cute gear.....

I usually love Fleurty Girl. This time the visit was just okay. Staff were talking to each other and I waited 5 minutes at the counter to check out despite the clerk standing at the register and ignoring me.The store wasn't busy and the selection was less than usual but it is Mardi Gras season.

This shop is so cute! I love that it has so many goods that are inspired by New Orleans. You can get great jewelry, household items, ornaments and more here. I love the choice of styles they have. While on the pricier side, you are getting a bang for your buck with the selection of goods they carry. I would highly recommend them!

I've been to the FG store in Bay Saint Louis and the location in New Orleans on Chartres and Wilkinson Streets. I hope that the owner treats her employees well, because both of my experiences were well above average. I would even say outstanding. Friendly, helpful and enthusiastic! EXTREMELY rare to find these days. Most employees give you a death stare, but the employees at these above locations are amazing.

ordered my mom a birthday gift from here this year and when i went to pick it up the employees were very quick at getting my order and very kind to me :)) they are also very well stocked and keep a lot of product in store at this specific location.

Visited on 03/07/20Walking throughout the small stores of NOLA we found this little treasure. They had such adorable shirts, socks and other trinkets which you wouldn't find in other places. It was fun to walk around and giggle at the naughty and or quirky items they had. Found a pair of You Fancy Bitch socks ($11) which came back home with me. Since the words are in the foot area I can easily wear them to work... because I am a Fancy Bitch.

Fleurty girl is your one stop shop for all things New Orleans. Any time I have to get a gift for someone fleurty girl is always one of my stops. You can get anything here for any holiday. Great Louisiana decor items such as: trays, dishes, napkins, ornaments, pictures, and much more. I also get all my New Orleans saints gear from here. They have a vast array of shirts for any New Orleans event for a good price (normally around $25). Best Mardi Gras selection in the City! They also have a very good reward system, buy 10 shirts get the 11th one for free.

For the first time ever, Fleurty Girl let me down. Something about this store changed and while some people may find it better, this guy did not.So first, lets try and figure out the answer to the question you're bound to ask. Why is a dude named John in a store with the word girl? Look, it's 2019 you judgmental randos. But really, FG used to be a great place to get small gifts. It was always my go-to at Christmas to get stocking stuffers and small LA themed items. So this past Christmas I was on my way down Causeway Blvd when I decided this would be the place to stop to get something for my kids.Going shopping in Metaire during the Christmas season was probably my first mistake. Parking was limited and the store was packed with people. Everyone who knows me knows I am very patient and love crowds so that didn't bother me in the least (sarcasm font in case you didn't get it).Despite the crowds I knew I needed some stuff for juveniles so I perused the store. I couldn't find anything. It wasn't because there was a lack of stuff, the store was filled with stuff. It just seems that there has been a shift towards more expensive items. Again, maybe it was just the time of year, but I had hoped to find some cheap necklaces or costume jewelry pieces and couldn't find anything that fit what I wanted. One bad experience doesn't really sour me on the chain as a whole. My other experiences here have been great.Will I be back? I am sure I will since it is right on my route to and from work. Lets hope the next time I can find the items I want.

My favorite candles Sweet Grace !they have everything you want or need NOLA . The ladies are wonderful i luv this store soo much . Please give it a try next time your in Nola

Great store with a huge selection of inventory. Very interesting products and super friendly staff.
