A very fun Burlesque show in New Orleans. We only decided to go about an hour before it started and all the formal tickets were already sold out. They meet Fridays at one of the hotels downtown. No sweat, the hotel clerk told us to just come get a drink at the bar and enjoy the show. My wife and I had a lot of fun! The show was fun and elegant. If you're able to, it's not a bad idea to pay the $25 for the ticket to reserve a table, but if they are all already reserved - just coming to the bar to enjoy the show is perfectly fine too (and easier in some ways since you can leave at your leisure).Great group in NOLA! Highly recommended if you like burlesque.

What ana awesome experience. This was my wife and I'd first burlesque show together and we loved it. I would recommend spending the 25 bucks to get a reserve table. Unless you don't mind standing for bout 2 hrs. 4.5 stars of awesomeness. :-)

Their emcee is amazing, their themed shows are great and the performers are fantastic. Their tribute shows are my favorite ( the Prince tribute w/ the band White Bitch in particular). These performers are well polished, starting with their creative director Trixie Minx (who is beautiful and hysterically funny) all the way down to their newer/featured members. Veterans Bella Blue and Madam Mystere are also VERY easy on the eyes and always put on a good show. Chris Lane as the emcee is amazingly funny and constantly toes-the-line of being too much. Hecklers beware; he will eat you alive. My suggestion is to reserve a table in advance. It's $5 more per person and it's worth every penny to have a waitress and a place to sit. The rest of the place is standing room only.

New Orleans Burlesque at it's best!I adore Fleur de Tease and know you will too. The artistic director Trixie Minx and her bevy of talented vixens will blow your mind. As funny as they are sexy, as sweet as they are naughty, there is something here for everyone. Reminiscent of a traditional variety show, each performance not only includes strip -tease but also a magic act and an aerial routine (silks and/or trapeze). There will be hula-hoops, fire and beautiful women who really enjoy taking it off for the crowd.Of equal importance is the emcee Chris Lane, who I firmly believe is one of the funniest people in New Orleans. He will have you laughing so hard, you'll think you did an ab workout the next day. And his interaction with the crowd is priceless.Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $5 a person for a table, or plan on getting there very early. Enjoy the show!

First, I want to note that my 2 star designation is due to the venue. Overall, this could be a really good show, the girls were beautiful, the costumes were flapper style/20-30's, the band and the singer were good, but it's not a good venue for a show, particularly one that is interactive. We wanted to go to "big city" burlesque because we had only been to one show, that was pretty amateur, but we had so much fun, so we expected to double our pleasure, so to speak. We called to reserve a spot near the stage and were told that it wasn't necessary to do so and that as "all the seats have a good view." Much to our surprise, all of the front tables were reserved, leaving us in the back corner. But the girls circulated through the audience as the stage was occupied by the band and singer, so we thought that would good, but alas, a group of folks pulled a row of chairs in front of us, nearly blocking the path of the dancers through the audience and completely obliterating our view. The other show we had been to, the crowd was loud and boisterous. This show, despite urging from the singer/mc, the audience was nearly silent. We were the only ones hooting during the performances (encouraging the ladies). The drinks were weak too.

The show was sensual and fun. The venue however is lacking. The GA is standing room only...for 2 hours. The view is limited, and they allow far more people in than is comfortable while standing. Would only return with reserved seating.

Saw Fleur de Tease at The Saint Hotel on Canal Street. Individual performances. They were elegant, athletic, sensual, fun. A must see!

Show is reasonably good, but the venue management needs serious help. - General admission is standing room only, which they never tell you anywhere. That would be fine, except they admit about 2x the number of people for GA that there's actually space for. To make things worse, the staff get incredibly frustrated at all the people standing in walkways (not us) and tell them to move... then people ask where exactly they're supposed to move to, and the staff literally say "I don't know, you just have to move." I heard this repeat itself a few times with different staff. A ton of people standing just left early.Oh, and they don't actually start the show till 30m after they let GA in (GA is let in before reserved seating, and at the time the show is officially supposed to start-- so go late) so that's 30m of listening to people complain about the venue / harass the waitresses and staff about it... - If you meet some nice people who invite you to sit at their reserved table... the hostess (tall short-haired blond lady) will come by and tell you "I know these nice people are letting you sit here, but you still have to pay extra". Maybe she's just making some extra money, but either way that's a pretty unfriendly policy. We paid, but... The good reviews on this page that mention "the great venue" are definitely people who got reserved seating up front.
