I cannot recommend this bike tour company enough! I am sure all of the guides are amazing, but our group had the great Barret who was extremely knowledgeable and very very committed to providing us with the best tour with the facts and even imitations. This is not an Iron Man race so the bike tour is suitable for all levels. After the 3 hour Two Cities Tour I left loving NOLA even more and wanting to experience the other tours that are offered by this company. This is a great tour with a great price that truly allows you to learn a piece of the interesting history that NOLA has to offer.

We arrived as the store was opening at 9:15 AM to rent bicycles. Normally you need to reserve in advance, but the manager was able to rent us two bikes. The bikes were very good with no problems. The manager was very nice and when we returned the bikes, he recommended a few places for us to have lunch. Would highly recommend.

This bike tour co. is the BEST.Our new Orleans vacation was so enriched by the bike tours we have taken with Flambeaux! The first time we came to New Orleans we enjoyed a bike tour with Baxter called the tale of two cities. Then when I came back with my sister, I took another bike tour with Eric that included the early history of New Orleans both are soooo great. From these bike tours, I have a whole new perspective on so many areas of New Orleans. What a gift these tours are. Go!

My husband and I recently went on the Creole Odyssey bike tour with Flambeaux at the recommendation of a friend. Our tour was led by Eric. There were about 10 people on this tour. The tour provided a short history to the origins of New Orleans which was truly fascinating. Eric has lived in the area for a long time and gave historical facts as well as current information including how they still use the same equipment used years before to drain the water from a recent hurricane. The hurricane was about three weeks before we were there and he told us that a bull shark was found inland after they started draining all the water! There was no remaining evidence of the hurricane during our ride. We stopped at historical sites which Eric explained in detail. Since our stay in NOLA was short we found that this tour met our needs in providing us the history of New Orleans. We considered a walking tour but felt it would not cover to the extent that this short bike ride did. The ride is at a relaxing pace so we never felt too challenged to keep up. Highly recommend this bike tour..it was fun and very entertaining!!

My family of 4 absolutely loved our bike tour and our tour guide Eric was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of New Orleans and he taught us so much in a fun and interesting way. We got to see parts of New Orleans that we hadn't seen before and he took great care of us throughout the whole tour. I highly recommend Flambeaux bike tours and ask for Eric as your guide!

Wonderful bike tour! Super knowledgeable and engaging tour leader Eric. Some tour leaders go on too long but not Eric. Just the right amount of info and a real talent for condensing history into digestible chucks of info esp on a hot day. And he had rain ponchos ready for us when the skies opened up. Always felt safe riding around the city. Highly recommend.
