Field's Steak and Oyster Bar

Last night was my second time at Fields and if they were in my city, it would be my go to restaurant always. The first visit was a happy accident and we had the time of our lives. The staff is amazing, fun, friendly and knowledgeable. The martinis are outstanding and every appetizer is a winner! This time we chose the Steakhouse Chips, Oyster Pot Pie, Chargrilled and casino oysters and a truffle fry. We intended on getting a steak to share but were too full. I cannot recommend the Chips enough, crispy wonton chips loaded with filet, crab, crawfish and queso. It's a full meal and outstanding. We finished with the crack pie. So good! Just go, order everything. It's worth it!

On a quest to find the best fried green tomatoes, I ordered the Fried Green Tomato Crab Cake Stack. Hands down Fields wins!!! I have tried Trapani's-4*, Beach Side Bistro-2*, 200 N Beach-4*, S&B-4*, Rum Kitchen-2*. Fried green tomatoes standalone: perfect thickness 1/4 ish, hand battered and seasoned lightly not salty, fried golden brown with no grease residue. NOW even though they are stacked in-between crab cakes they remain perfectly crisp. Crab cakes = superbSauce = superbJust delicious! A full meal to be honest.

Service was great. Drink was great. Appetizers great. Sides...mmmmeh. Steaks were way overcooked for all three. I'm the only one of the three that sent my steak back...very well done when ordered medium...very well. Returned with a butterflied steak at least medium well. "So what" you ask? 300.00 + meal. I have written the restaurant three times and left three phone messages to speak with Managment for at least an apology....nothing. No returned call, no returned email. What a rip off and lack of concern; don't eat here. This was a very expensive meal that would have been better at Texas Road House. Feel free to contact me now if you like. [email protected]. Food was fabulous for my birthday dinner. Filets were better than Thorny Oyster & the oysters were perfect. I got surprised at the end with a birthday chocolate cake with raspberry & chocolate sauce that was SOOO decadent! Definitely would return.

I've been here two or three times and have enjoyed it. The inside is beautiful! I love the decor. This is definitely a more high end place. I mean c'mon, they have wagyu!!! We got an appetizer with fois gras..it was definitely an acquired taste. I'd recommend checking this place out.

Last night we took a friend to dinner for her 50th birthday. She has been wanting to try Field's and we made it happen. This meal was delicious, every single bite was a taste sensation. The BBQ shrimp tasted like heaven (we are from Louisiana so we know what good food is ) The steaks melted in our mouth and the plating made it even better. Don't miss out on the truffle fries, they are a favorite. We had the best luck getting Delilah as our server. She was so good with our order and answered all of our questions, very professional but so much fun for our group. Then, we received a wonderful blessing. Someone paid for our entire meal, tip and all. We never found out who it was but this person made our entire weekend. If the person who blessed us ever reads this, thank you! Our meal was well worth every penny we would have paid but to know someone thought of us and blessed us was the icing on the cake.

The atmosphere at Fields is spot on. We've been several times. Unfortunately, the last time we were there we were underwhelmed with our order as. all of our side dishes came out cold. Our waiter was fantastic however, I have no complaints about the service.

They must be really busy. We are here from FL hiding from the Storm, trying to feed our kids.First call, they hung up.Second, they put us on hold to speak to the take out person and they never came on the phone after 15 mins.3rd time they didn't pick up.Was about to spend over $200 on a takeout, I'm glad they are so busy that they do not need our business.

Hey Y'allI had checked my bill and we were suppose to receive 1/2 price oysters and we got charged full price. The waiter said he could not find the button. Also we want to share the special but he said no. We are very nice people and come. In a lot. Very disappointed.

Stop by for dinner last night while staying at Bucaneer state park and wow!! The food was amazing I had a crawfish poptart that was amazing! That peppery jelly was the best! The service was top notch our waiter was awesome and our food was fast to come out. Plus the atmosphere was so chill and very relaxing not a lot of people were there but it was overall a great experience.
