Well this place was amazing Me a friend of mine and my mom came here in October for my vacation..... we drove from San Antonio Texas and I was not disappointed we ordered the fried alligator bites and they were amazing we finally order our food and I ordered the blackened alligator tacos my friend got the shrimp Po boy and my mom got the fried okra Po boy and we destroyed our food and then we got the bread pudding for dessert and that was so good as well I had a few beers they had on tap from the local breweries and they were so smooth over 10/10 must try again when I go back i will definitely stop and I bought some of the Fezzos seasoning to bring back home I really miss this place I highly recommend

$17 for a plate of rice(+) and gravy. I really like Fezzo's. Long time fan. Oddly enough though, I've never ordered this smothered beef steak. In fact, I was so busy with clients that I barely read the description. When the plate was brought out, it was instantly a disappointment. It's basically a plate of rice(+) and gravy. Barely any meat. But the thought of paying $17 for rice and gravy? At the bar? Silly. With clients I often drop $300+ bills with hefty tips. I have no problem paying top price for top food and service. This is highway robbery. Service was fine. Love the place.

I am a Louisiana girl with a traveler's heart. I was on a road trip back home when I saw this restaurant right off I-10. The location was great. We called ahead to make a reservation to dine that night.Wow the barkeep created such memorable cocktails. I really like the strong Cherry Mule. I wish they would have asked for last call 30 minutes before they were closed though. What a unique appetizer it tasted delightful. I ate the charbroiled and the half shell oyster often but Man O Man these were fresh, clean, and succulent. The Cajun Shrimp is a must try because, was dripping with scrumptious spice.Our entrée was to die for. My husband appreciated Pat's Ribeye Supreme with the Shrimp etouffee, French fries, hush puppies, and a salad was perfection. The best entrée was mine, grilled Tuna MR with salad and fresh hand cut onion rings.Our server was one of the finest. I normally will not stop by one hour before closing in respect to the establishment. I told our server "I know what I want for dinner" as I sat down. She insisted that the time would not be a problem. She did not rush me one time. The chef's skills were exquisite, what a culinary honor to dine here. I encourage you to look at my photos.

Incredible service and the food was one of the best places I have ever eaten in. We had Oysters raw and cooked. We had fried mushrooms they were huge. My wife had a Ribs it was a large portion. We brought home a nice piece of chocolate cake. It was my 70th birthday and we were on the road from NC to TX. The restaurant is well lit and very comfortable. Truly one of my favorite restaurants during our trip. Decor was new clean the staff couldn't do enough to help us. They have 3 locations one in Scott, Crowley and Broussard all in LA.I promise you it will be a meal that you will not forget soon. There sign reads Fezzo's Seafood, Steakhouse and Oyster Bar. Best oysters in a long time fresh and delicious!!!

The service and the atmosphere were very good. Higher ranking than the food.The oysters on the half shell were good.The gumbo was pretty good, seafood and the chicken gumbo both.The fried shrimp itself was very good.The etouffe was tasteless. I added salt and Tabasco, actually a lot, and it kind of woke up.The corn and shrimp bisque was the same, very tasteless, needed a lot of salt and pepper, just no seasoning.The red beans and rice had a hint of being good, but it was 90% rice, a couple scrapes on top and it was a bowl of white rice. Had a side of hush puppies, I liked the flavor, they seemed under done, but I actually liked them, my wife did not.Just felt like then were pulling all the seasoning because this is in I10 and maybe travelers don't like spice?

Fezzo's in Scott, is and will always be, a Geaux to place for me. Growing up in South Louisiana, and having fresh seafood on a daily basis, was the Norm. With the changing times, and life moving on. It's been increasingly harder and harder, to find good Cajun food. Not just any Cajun food, but one I grew up on. I can come to Scott on my way to my Home near Vermillion bay, and have real tasting Cajun food. The Staff in Scott, is always friendly and inviting. I feel at easy, asking for add-ons and extra with no problem. Once inside the restaurant, you are greeted with Cajun-French and zydeco music. It's a sound identifier, you're about to have a Cajun experience.

Had to work in Lafayette and I this place was recommended. We ordered a spread of appetizers and I had some seafood gumbo. It was too thick for my liking. The onion rings were good. I ordered the catfish topped with etouffe it was a NOThe fish was seasoned well and probably would have been good alone but the etouffe was not good and there was so much I couldn't scrape it off to just eat the fish.My coworker said the batter was spicy but I didn't find it to be spicy but over all I wasn't impressed.

Holy cannoli. First and foremost you get a to of food. One person cannot eat that fish po boy. Very good, but my goodness - share this. I am thankful for the excellent staff - I appreciated the hostess ho called me sweet baby 3 times. THis play would be a nice little place to go and eat outside if you have the time which we did not this day. THe hush puppies might've been my favorite part. So unique and tasty - I think with a kick of jalapeño?
