Felipe's Mexican Taqueria - French Quarter

I was pleasantly surprised when I found Felipe's Taqueria in the French Quarter. In Boston Felipe's is my favorite spot to visit on the weekends. I did not realize there was another location in New Orleans. They had the same menu down to the Super Burritos. Naturally I had to go inside and enjoy a meal. I loved their expansive menu and frozen margarita drinks. It was very spacious with tons of tables available. The prices were decent which is hard to find in a popular tourist area. The staff was friendly and gave tons of recommendations for places to see in the area. I loved the location in Boston so it was not hard for me to fall in love with this one as well.

Amazing restaurant located on the edge of the French quarter & decent meals. Near everything and extremely walkable. The service from the bar is always great.

Stopped in Felipe's for my last meal in NOLA. Located on the edge of the French quarter. Very walkable area. I got the vegan bowl and it did not disappoint. Decor inside is kind of blah but the food was delightful. Loaded with all the healthy veggies and black beans. I wish it had an extra scoop of guacamole. Served with corn tortillas. Authentic. I topped it with their habanero sauce that is at their salsa station. Bartender Monika was friendly and seemed to have a lot of locals patrons. They walked in and she would know their orders. Good service goes a long way. Give it a try if you are in the French Quarter.

Similar concept as chipotle but not as much salt (possibly not as much flavor). I enjoyed the lightness and freshness of my bowl, and would return in the future.GLOWS:-The menu options are expansive. There is something for everyone -I didnt try the dessert, but they have dessert options and many frozen margarita drinks. -The restaurant has a good amount of seats, which made dining in on a whim a breeze.GROWS:-The bowls are on the smaller side when dining in. I didn't feel my bowl was packed like it could have been, especially the protein

Great quality food. Had the grilled chicken quesadilla and carnita nachos, both excellent. Definitely recommend the frozen Margs to go.

I've never had a bad experience here! It's literally made right in front of you as you choose what you want. I love the chips w/ the trio of queso, guacamole and salsa. Food is fresh, cute area to sit and it has a bar for some strong margs as well! Plus a great price point!

Came here on taco Tuesday so the tacos were really cheap. Ordered queso and chips which was good (nothing fancy), got a side of rice which was a bit bland, some of the meat in the tacos was a bit dry, shrimp was decent, drinks were strong! Can't complain since it was so cheap.

Quick Mexican food option, nice seating area. Fairly casual. Very reasonably priced, great options.I got a small chips and queso. The queso tasted like a beer white cheese to me. I enjoyed it! Then I did two make your own tacos. I like that they include guacamole. Both the Al pastor and chicken had a nice flavor/good quality.My only negative was there was a bone piece (or something hard) in my chicken taco.

I do not recommend the food is nothing special and ordering is a pain my margarita was disgusting the staff was nice and prices low but unfortunately this place is a NO

Surprisingly great meal. Basically a much better Chipotle with real fresh ingredients and yummy salsa options. Also, totally reasonably priced. A big space with lots of seating. The large TVs were a bit distracting and not really our vibe, but the rest of the decor is cute.
